[Okay, so this whole. Getting kidnapped thing is not entirely new to Estelle. What is new it getting kidnapped to a whole new world. She of course knows of travel and loves the ocean and stars, but somehow all of this...she never thought there might be worlds like this out there besides those in the books she read. She's curious, examining the fountain and its words thoughtfully before flipping through the journal, and unfortunately with how she gets when reading, this may mean she might end up bumping into somebody as she wanders only half paying attention to her surroundings as she investigates the book.]

It seems like there are a lot of people who were brought here too. To find these shards....? I guess there are others who just recently arrived too. I'm Estelle! I'm not sure if my friends might be among them, but if they are, I'd like to join a crew with them together! If anyone has seen or heard from Yuri, Flynn, Judith, Rita, Raven or Karol, please let me know. I'm sure if they are here they are also worrying about me and things back home too.

I'm not sure how much a ship might be, but if that really is the best way, the way to possibly get home and find these shards, then we don't have much other choice, do we? This is almost kind of exciting as much as it is....a little scary. There are so many new people to meet, so much new land to explore! And I never knew there were books like this!

Oh! And um, if my friends aren't here, I could join a different crew. I can heal, so that might help, especially out on the ocean traveling!

[The recording stops when she accidentally bumps into someone and drops her book. Oops.]

Interesting? Well, I would hope that I'm not...boring, I guess. I didn't really get out much back home. Not until I met Yuri, anyway. So a lot of things that others might take for granted are new and exciting to me, really.

[But Estelle smiles and gives a nod, extending a hand to return the handshake.]

I didn't know there was a welcoming committee. Did you set it up yourselves when you realized people kept coming here?

That's good, though! ["You're impressionable and probably just ignorant enough not to question my decisions," Codi doesn't say.] You're willing to learn new things instead of just yelling about them like everyone else does. I like that!

That's kind of the reason I set up the committee--some guy came here and wasn't willing to figure out what happened, so they burnt down the island and got the Navy angry at us. [Codi huffs and shrugs.] I mean, they weren't happy with us to begin with, but I can't say that helped things very much. We had a lot of cleaning up to do.

[astion]

I--I wouldn't yell. I mean, this isn't exactly what I or anyone probably anticipated, but it's not our fault. It wouldn't be right to take it out on people like that....

[Estelle's eyes widen at that, biting her lip.] Oh....so that is why the people here don't seem too talkative or willing to help. I'm glad things calmed down. I hope the committee helps prevent that now at least....

[maskedtyrant]

Yeah, they...weren't very talkative to begin with. But that's what we're here for! [She grins.] Answer questions and guide people in the right direction so they're not stranded on a raft somewhere.

[Then, without warning--]

Speaking of which--have you found a ship yet?

I'm sure everyone is thankful! I know I'm grateful for your help already!

[A beat. Blink, looking around. Nope, she still has yet to find her friends.]

Um, not yet, no. But I'm sure I will! If my friends are here I could join them. Or I could find someone else's crew to join.

[maskedtyrant]

I can keep an eye out for them, if you tell me who they are. [Codi shrugs and offers a warmer smile.] Failing that, you could always join my ship! The Sinewave should be in port for the rest of the week, if you're still looking.

Oh, really? That would be wonderful! There is Yuri, Karol, Rita, Judith and Raven. Oh, and Repede! He's Yuri's dog. And thank you for the offer! I'll keep your ship in mind if I can't find one with my friends.
