I canna believe what I've just been reading-- worse yet hearing.

[Scrooge had managed to keep occupied what with his recent business dealings, and a little side project he'd been writing up. He nearly missed hearing about what occurred to the two unfortunate islands in question]

[Not that he was in a position to really do anything about it...]

There could have been valuable resources on those islands... [You know- not to detract away from the greater issue.] People could've been killed.

[If Yato sounds a little unimpressed, that wouldn't be a bad interpretation. A little chick can be heard chirping.]

What am I supposed to do with a baby chicken?

I found it in an egg and all it does is chirp at me. Does anyone know what I'm supposed to do with it?

For the most part you've all been forthcoming with information about this place. There are still a few details or incidents that have transpired here that I would like to know more about.

[Scrooge was trying to keep a record of this place and it's oddities, and in order to do that he still needed to fill in the gaps that were before his time]

I was told that several months ago an apparition, or some sort of projection going by the name "Davy Jones" appeared to address the new arrivals. Is there anyone that has been here long enough to have witnessed this firsthand? There seemed to be some doubt that this creature was actually Jones himself so I would like to get a sense of what sort of impressions this incident left on others.. Along with a summary of what was said, and anything peculiar that might help give us anymore clues to the man's identity.

Also- Was there anything strange that happened between the apparition's appearance and the Navy flexing their muscles on Isla Empieza?

A plague is no laughing matter- one virus can wreak havoc over a population. So I'd suggest steering clear of infected islands if you're able. I was also wondering whether there are any that are from a medical profession here among us?

[Without any warning or provocation a voice sounded over the journals. The most notable aspect of this broadcast was the rich Scottish accent that accompanied it.]

I want some answers, and I want them now.

[The irritation was evident in the way the words were emphasized. Despite the brief message from someone going by the name Scurvey Dog, Scrooge McDuck was not satisfied. The magical journal wasn't the most unfathomable part of this scenario. His inventor, Gyro Gearloose, could have concocted something like this... and if it actually was magic, well he'd run into enough of that within his life too.]

I demand to speak to the man in charge..............

[There was a slight pause in words, but he had one more thing to say before he was finished.]

Jones has some nerve kidnaping Scrooge McDuck. He obviously doesn’t know who he’s dealing with. Time is money, and I don’t have any time to waste. Now where is this blaggard?
