Hey! Korra, here-

Would anyone happen to know anything about fighting with swords? I got a pair from the "Krissmis" ship. I think they're Fire Nation... [not that anybody is going to have a clue what that means...] Broadswords, maybe? They look pretty old fashion, but they're in good shape.

I just have no idea how to use them. I want to, though! I could pay for lessons and everything.

So I've noticed. Most can not manipulate the elements as you do.

Were the weapons based methods of combat considered unnecessary on your world?

For me, yeah. My training is focused on mastering the four elements. Traditionally, it's what the Avatar - that's me - does. I guess no one ever really thought it would be necessary.

[But she's already messed up and lost her bending in some way twice. And here, they're doing something that's impeding her connection with Raava. That much, she knows now. So why not seize the opportunity to learn something that definitely can't be taken away?]

What does it mean to be called an Avatar?

[He had never heard that term used in quite that way before.]

[Well, she can't exactly call her the bridge between humans and spirits anymore, can she? Korra pauses for a second; this answer used to be so much easier!]

Well, I'm the only person who can bend all four elements! The Avatar spirit is reincarnated in a cycle.

Then you are a leader for your people?

[Not all of that was understood but this much seemed clear enough.]

You must understand balance and order? Those traits will help you as you try to master a sword.

We should meet some where if I'm to instruct you. One of the islands with a Nav perhaps?

No, I don't have any real power. I only really step in when something is disrupted spiritually. And even then... No one really listens.

Change is constant, but can be especially complex in matters of governance.

I agree. With the Navy gone it is the most central island.
