Would anyone happen to know anything about fighting with swords? I got a pair from the "Krissmis" ship. I think they're Fire Nation... [not that anybody is going to have a clue what that means...] Broadswords, maybe? They look pretty old fashion, but they're in good shape.

I just have no idea how to use them. I want to, though! I could pay for lessons and everything.

There are more than five, in all truthfulness, but there are five considered the largest. I am from the Village Hidden in the Leaves [Konohagakure, or just Konoha.] within the Land of Fire.

Ninja are the main fighters and protectors of these countries. [To put it in the most simple terms.]

Okay, great! Because I really... don't have any. I've done a lot of training with improvised weapons! Like using your environment and all that. But not really any sword training.

So they're like soldiers?

So I've noticed. Most can not manipulate the elements as you do.

Were the weapons based methods of combat considered unnecessary on your world?

I can't offer you any assistance, but I wish you luck. My own gift was a weapon. Thankfully, there was an instructional book included. Of course... one cannot learn swordsmanship from a book. Not properly.

For me, yeah. My training is focused on mastering the four elements. Traditionally, it's what the Avatar - that's me - does. I guess no one ever really thought it would be necessary.

[But she's already messed up and lost her bending in some way twice. And here, they're doing something that's impeding her connection with Raava. That much, she knows now. So why not seize the opportunity to learn something that definitely can't be taken away?]
