[ Weiss has been keeping to herself for a few days, really only having spoken with Ruby and Jaune so far.. but this situation has come to a climax. She can't take it anymore. She has to do something! Even if it means acknowledging the other people who may or may not actually be pirates. ]
I'm going to ask you all a question and one of you had better have an answer! Is there anywhere in this place to sleep that isn't full of smelly drunkards? Maybe a place with an ice machine that looks a little more like it's got zero chance of bugs.
[ Weiss's tone is dead serious. She has absolutely no tolerance for this quality of rooming. Bunk beds, dorm rooms? Fine. They're clean, warm, and more than comfortable at the top school for huntresses and hunters. They definitely aren't situated over a noisy bar. The other option was to actually get a ship and she wasn't going to deal with a tiny little dinghy-- that would probably be worse than the room. ]
I know my standards can be a little high sometimes... but there is absolutely no way I'm staying in a place that's not even fit for animals for one more night. [ The last three words are punctuated to emphasize her point. ]

I really hope this sort of weather isn't normal around here...
[That's cute. She thinks it's just the weather.]
voice
[ Or at least, that was the solution they came to after some discussion. ]
voice
Um.
...huh.
That sounds...
...[Short pause.]
Awkward.

You know what, I'm tired of freezing, sure.
voice
Do you have any ships you've been considering? [ If they can't agree on one that'll take all three of them, Weiss is okay with trying to make their own crew. ]
voice
Though I ran into a few alright people when the Navy was trying to kill me.
voice
[ Obviously. She had a hard time accepting Ruby as a leader, she's not about to accept someone whose skills she doesn't even have evidence of. ]
voice
Of course, we're gonna be dealing with a bunch of people we don't know, but- yeah, I guess I can see why you'd think that.
[Because yeah, Ruby is just as aware about how long it took Weiss to be okay with her. Combine that with being stuck on a ship with someone and no way out, well...
That could get not very pretty.]
But then, it's just the three of us, otherwise...
voice
[ Says the girl with the winner personal skills when it comes to making people like her. ]
voice
But new people apparently show up every few weeks, that's how the other ships knew to come in and help us newbies when we landed and this island was being controlled by the navy. I guess it's not impossble...
[Even if Ruby is already making mental notes on how to diplomatically ask Weiss to not try to do the recruitment herself.]
voice
[ WEISS IS SURE SHE'LL FIND SOME PEOPLE SHE APPROVES OF SOMEWHERE OKAY? There have been a couple so far that she likes! ]
voice
...well, sure! Yeah I mean, how hard could that really be?
[Ruby's not even thinking for a moment that there's really no telling what'll end up coming in next month's assortment of people. But for now, she has her optimism. And really not a whole lot else at this point.]
