I waited around town for her for more than a day and she never bothered to show up. I guess it's possible she got tired of our crew and decided to go off with someone else, but I haven't heard about her leaving from the captain or anything. I dunno.

Strange though--do other people just disappear on the open ocean? Without using the Nav or falling overboard or anything?

Some pirate guy who's looking for the gem pieces--well, wants us to look for them and I guess hand them over on a platter or something, I'm not sure what his plan is there. Anyway, he showed up with the first batch of newcomers to tell them what the deal was, and he's some kind of ghost? I wasn't there so I don't know for sure.

I might know several, but the person who told me about Jones called herself Hajime. I would say you should contact her about more information, but her interpretation of what went down is kind of overly-simplistic and I don't think it's entirely correct.

Well...ghost pirates for one. There are definitely some weird things about this place, but I can't help but be skeptical about the undead. Also she sounded kind of naive, and probably wouldn't know how to describe what she saw even if she wasn't exaggerating things.

Death isn't always permanent. There are ways to bring people back, though I doubt this world has the ones I know of available.
