P.S. I have a hat back home that's perfect for this weather. I suspect the lack of its furry brilliance is the reason I'm about to lose my ears to frostbite.

Yes, I've noticed. Yet the only solutions I've seen offered up are complete rubbish.

What solutions have you heard?

Well. Someone told me hugging would do the trick.

[Looks as though saying the words leaves a bad taste in his mouth.]

I'm sure they must have meant body heat or something similar, though I'm not certain why that would work when any other source of heat doesn't.
