Though I refer to myself as a Taoist, by association with my fellows, I am rather unfond of all religions. But Shintoists clung so readily to their outdated ideas of divinity that they nearly destroyed an entire country. Even IF Buddhism came from foreigners, at least they were willing to accept harmony until those damned Mononobe pushed their Shintoist agenda.
