So. I made it back.

This place really still exists, huh?

*Faye has appeared on a familiar island, but there's no real sense of how much time has passed. She caught glimpses of her home world, but she could have been gone from this world for months. Time seems to work so differently*

Thash, tell me you're still here. I'm coming to find you.

*Despite doing her best to sound cool and collected, her voice quavers slightly with that last statement*

*Faye smiled at him as he let her go, and she reached at once to take his hand*

That sounds perfect. I'll come with you, just to prove that I won't go disappearing anywhere..

Thanks [he smiled warmly and squeezed her hand, then headed to the galley. He dug out a bottle of wine he knew she'd like, along with a few light snacks. Then he'd go grab a blanket from his room to carry it all in]

Shall we?

*Faye followed him closely, and at every few steps she'd lean forward to kiss his nose, his cheek, his neck, or his shoulder. As they made their way off the ship and along the beach, Faye put her arm around his waist so they were walking closely side by side*

So, two weeks, hmm? What did I miss? That wasn't long enough for you to go deciding to find a new girlfriend, was it?

[he put his arm around her while they walked, chuckling at what she said]

Well, the great ghost race started, but obviously we're not participating. Some big monster attacked the island it started at....I fought it for a while and got a small shard but eventually it knocked me away. Not much has happened since then...

Wait - you fought a monster?

*Faye stopped walking abruptly and moved to stand in front of him, doing a close assessment for any sign of injury, her brow creased in worry*

Are you okay? Were you hurt?

Hm, I was a little bruised and cut up right after, but they were all minor injuries that healed quickly. Honestly the worst part was using that ice dagger...it sucked the energy right outta me.

Like how? What happened?

*Faye continued to frown at him, touching his cheek and brushing some of his hair away from his eyes*

You're fine now, right? Who looked after you?

Yeah, I'm fine. I just...looked after myself, I guess. I didn't need any major care...wasn't even any cuts big enough to need stitches.

As for what happened, that dagger will freeze whatever I stab it into...but it takes energy from me in order for the magic to work. The bigger area I wanna freeze, the more energy it takes. That's just the way the magic works, I guess. But in okay now, really. [he smiled as if to say she shouldn't worry]

*Faye took this all in, listening carefully, nodding to show she understood. She lowered her eyes, still seeming unhappy about it all. Then, without a word of worrying, she stepped forward and kissed him fiercely, clinging on tightly*

[the sudden kiss surprised him and he almost dropped the blanket of stuff he was carrying. But luckily he managed to keep a hold of it with one hand, his other arm hugging her tightly as he returned the kiss]

*When she was done, Faye leaned back slightly, but only enough so that their noses were still touching*

I'm sorry I left you... But these kisses from you make it almost worth it.

*She smirked and winked at him to show she was only teasing - nothing was worth being separated from Thash. Then she hooked his arm in his and continued walking along the beach, looking for a place to sit*

[hed been blushing a bit, her kisses filling him with intense emotion almost like back when they'd first started]

Hahah.... Well next time you want kisses like this, just pretend to be missing.

[or something like that. Like how they'd pretended not to know each other a few weeks back. He kept walking, content to let her pick a spot to stop]

Ooh, now that sounds exciting.

*She winked at him again, tugging his arm slightly as she made her joke. But then, maybe it would be exciting - most things with Thash were. Faye looked around her, trying to find the perfect place*

Hmm...Somewhere with a good view and plenty of space to be totally alone...

*Then she pointed to a spot in the sand closer to the edge of the shore, sheltered by walls of stone*

How about there?

Oh, looks perfect

[he continued to the spot, then stopped to lay the blanket out and set up the wine and snacks at the edge of it] there we go...

*Faye got settled on the blanket, reaching over Thash so grab some snacks which she started eating straight away*

Hmm...I think that moving worlds thing has made me hungry.

*She looked up at the sun, noting that it was moving down in the sky, and lay back on the blanket. She was wearing her yellow outfit, and closed her eyes, quite happy for her stomach to get a bit of sun*

Oh, this is much better...

Oh? Maybe I should have packed more of a meal then....

[he looked over at what she was wearing, trying to remember if he'd seen her in that before]

Is that what you normally wear in your world?

Ssh, no, it's fine. I just realised that I was starving when I ate that snack.

*She rested her hands under her head, then opened her eyes to smile at him. Faye glanced down at her yellow top, revealing cleavage, and her midriff, at her tiny yellow shorts, her stockings, her white boots*

Yeah. You don't like it?

Hm? No, it's fine. Just unusual so I could tell it wasn't from this world.

[he stretched out next to her, moving the snacks closer so she could eat while resting. Then he simply watched her, admiring her]

Hmm... Maybe if it was warmer I could just take it all off... Would you like that better?

*Faye laughed softly at her comment, looking up as the sun started its slow descent over the water, making it sparkle. Then she closed her eyes again and nudged into him playfully*

Heheheh...it's plenty warm out here if you ask me.

[he smirked and ran a hand over her arm softly]

*Faye started laughing at his reply, and she sat up, still close to him, leaning to kiss him on the nose*

You're adorable, you know that?

[he grinned and playfully grabbed her, pulling her onto his lap before he kissed her neck in a tickling way] I am huh?

*Faye laughed, giggling as she's pulled onto his lap. She wriggled in amusement and even stuck her tongue out at him a little*

You know it, too. Just a big cutie. That's what you are!

Heheh, I'll take that over the stuff people used to call me any day [he hugged her happily, giving a small sigh]

Yeah, well, I should hope so. I don't go round calling every hot guy I meet a cutie and adorable.

*Faye beamed at him, still smiling when she snuggled him close*
