So. I made it back.

This place really still exists, huh?

*Faye has appeared on a familiar island, but there's no real sense of how much time has passed. She caught glimpses of her home world, but she could have been gone from this world for months. Time seems to work so differently*

Thash, tell me you're still here. I'm coming to find you.

*Despite doing her best to sound cool and collected, her voice quavers slightly with that last statement*

Hmm... Maybe if it was warmer I could just take it all off... Would you like that better?

*Faye laughed softly at her comment, looking up as the sun started its slow descent over the water, making it sparkle. Then she closed her eyes again and nudged into him playfully*

Heheheh...it's plenty warm out here if you ask me.

[he smirked and ran a hand over her arm softly]

*Faye started laughing at his reply, and she sat up, still close to him, leaning to kiss him on the nose*

You're adorable, you know that?

[he grinned and playfully grabbed her, pulling her onto his lap before he kissed her neck in a tickling way] I am huh?

*Faye laughed, giggling as she's pulled onto his lap. She wriggled in amusement and even stuck her tongue out at him a little*

You know it, too. Just a big cutie. That's what you are!

Heheh, I'll take that over the stuff people used to call me any day [he hugged her happily, giving a small sigh]

Yeah, well, I should hope so. I don't go round calling every hot guy I meet a cutie and adorable.

*Faye beamed at him, still smiling when she snuggled him close*

[still holding her tightly with one arm, he began to scratch and rub her back lightly with the other]

So, what did you do while you were in your world? I know you probably didn't have time for much...

*It was so relaxing and so familiar to be held by Thash like that. Faye curled against him and closed her eyes*

Hmm? Oh. Nothing. I was back on my ship and... I came back. After yelling and screaming for a couple of minutes...

Heheh...well that's good I guess.

[it would have been unfortunate if she'd become involved in something before leaving again]

Amazing how differently time flows between worlds... If maybe it just takes a long time to transport people between them

Urgh...I'd rather not think about it. It makes my brain hurt.

*She opened her eyes again, and placed a hand warmly on his cheek, leaning in close so that their lips touched when she spoke*

I'd rather just enjoy being here with you.

Yeah...agreed. [and he pressed a little closer to kiss her with slow, gentle affection]

*Faye eventually broke off the kiss, grinning at Thash. With her arms still around his neck, Faye stayed comfortably in his lap as she turned to watch the sun begin to set over the water*

[he watched it with her, content to just hold her close and cuddle as long as she'd let him]

*Faye seemed to have fallen deep into her thoughts, and it was another few minutes, the sun low in the sky, before Faye eventually moved. She started to get up from Thash's lap, and held a hand back to him, kicking off her boots*

Come on.

'Kay...[he didn't even ask where they were going but figured it was probably for a swim, taking her hand and standing up to follow her]

*Faye walked on slightly ahead of him, not saying anything for a while. Her boots were off, but she still had her stockings on. She watched as the sun spread a pinks and blues in the sky, and she walked with Thash to the edge of the water. Not in the water though, because of her stocking, which she wishes she'd taken off. Faye let of Thash's hand, and turned her back to him for a moment, staring out across the sea*

[he walked with her, and when she stopped to look at him he smiled, loving how she looked in the colorful, failing light of the sunset]

You're truly beautiful, Faye

*At that point, Faye turned to him, seeming to hold something in her hand. She smiled back at him, wider still when she realises just how much he does admire her. No one makes her feel as beautiful as Thash does. Faye glanced down at her hand, and took a step closer to Thash. She opened up her hand slowly to show her palm, and on it was the ring that Thash had given her, or had tried to give her, months ago. Slowly, Faye looked back up at him, her expression open, and a little uncertain*

...ask me again...

[he looked down at her hand when it opened, and his heart skipped a beat when he saw what was in it. After she spoke though, his heart broke into a full blown race]

[feeling shaky but excited, he took the ring and got down on one knee. He looked up at her adoringly, taking her hand in one of his and kissing it softly before he slid the ring onto her finger]

Faye, I.... [his voice was a little unsteady due to his sudden excitement, but every word sounded genuine] I love you with all my heart. I couldn't imagine living without you. Will you... Please marry me?

[despite how weak he was feeling, he managed to look into her eyes with a steady intensity]

*Faye wanted this. She knew it the moment Thash returned after he'd died. But she knew it even more so when she considered the hell, the impossibility of being separated from him, of having a life without him.

But she hadn't expected to be so choked full of emotion, the way he spoke to her, looked at her, touched her. And down on one knee. She stared at him a moment, tears suddenly springing to her eyes when he asked the question. She had told him to ask it, but it still surprised her took her breath away*

Yes. Yes!

*Faye gasped out the words then dropped herself to her knees so that she could throw her arms around him, almost tackling him to the sand*

[he hugged her tightly, giving a tearful laugh as a big smile covered his face. He felt so joyful it was almost too much to express. It felt like he couldn't hug her tightly enough or hold her close enough or smile big enough. Finally he just kissed her, and it was quite possibly the most passionate and affectionate kiss he'd given her yet; overflowing with his emotions towards her]

*As she returned the kiss, Faye didn't mind pushing Thash over so that she was lying on top of him in the sand. She was pressing herself to him as closely as possible, holding his shoulder and the back of his head. She needed to convey how happy she was, how much she loved him, and how pleased she was about this. Faye didn't stop kissing him, only slowing when she was running out of breath*

[Thash was happy to lie back in the sand and hold her close on top of him, almost feeling like if he could melt into her he would. Feeling her there and knowing she was his made him so happy he could cry, but instead he just kept kissing her vigorously, also only slowing to breathe between kisses when it was necessary. He also managed a few words]

I love you Faye...I love you so much....

*It was all so surreal, and Faye had to spend a long time just looking at him to remind herself that it was real. Not just a daydream. She smirked at Thash's comment, and replied in between kisses of her own, some on his neck, but mostly lingering on his mouth*

I love you too... That's why...I'm now...your future bride.

*She couldn't help but giggle as soon as she said it, squeezing Thash tight in the excitement of saying such a thing*
