[Rose was on the Moon, taking a break from all the centaur stuff and doing her chores, when she found one of the mechanical birds on board. She, of course, listened to its song, enjoying the tune until the end. What came after the song, caused her to go pale after hearing a voice she thought she would never hear again. It shook her up quite a bit.

[She tries to keep her voice even when she makes the post, despite what she is feeling.]

Since strange things have been appearing as of late, has anyone else found a mechanical bird? It sings quite nicely, but after listening to it, I am not sure if I want to throw it out or not. If you have found one and listened, you may know what I am talking about, but I suspect what it says will vary from person to person.

[Rose can be found on the deck of the Sun, leaning against the railing stilling holding the bird she found. Every now and then she will list to it sing again, and if someone is close enough, they can hear a man's voice come from it at the end of the song.]

It appears so. They even sing.

I suppose that is one way to look at it.

What do they sing?

Nah. I'll let the rest of 'em have fun or do whatever. It's fine.

[with added bonus of not having to deal with the weirdness himself. He's had enough weird lately.]

Just a soft little song... Afterwards it says something but it is going to change depending on who listens to it.

No, not like an enemy. In fact, I would consider the voice that I heard the exact opposite of an enemy.

And then you can just let them deal with the strangeness of the island on their own.

[She gives a slight smile, not really blaming him for wanting to stay on board his ship.]

I am Rose, by the way.

[His voice sounds familiar but she is fairly sure they never introduced themselves before.]

They can handle it, I'm not worried.

[lifts his chin in a manly nod] Roronoa Zoro. How long you been with the Spades?

Around half a year by now I believe. Ace invited me to join when I first arrived in this world.

What about you with the Strawhats?

[for some reason he smiles]

More than three years. Counting our time at home, I mean.

Ah, so a good portion of your crew came from the same world?

Yeah. Luffy's our captain at home as well as here. Me, the cook, and Robin anyway.

It would just upset more more otherwise, but even though I hear her voice and know she can no longer stand by my side, I know that the loved one is still in my heart.

Oh?

[But he still sounds plenty full of trepidation about this.]

... It was the voice of someone who was very dear to me.

[She's not sure if she wants to talk about Zieg just yet, but if he asks she will answer honestly.]

Ah.

And you think it'll be individually tailored to whomever listens to it?

I am fairly sure that is the case. It would be awkward if everyone hears the same thing I heard.

I'll have to take a look then, yoi.

I am on deck with one if you want to hear for yourself.

Aye, please. If you don't mind.

I'll be there in a bit, yoi.

Agreed. It is good to know that I still remember his voice.

[And true to his word, he flits over, shifting from half bird to fully human as he lands, finishing up the rest of the path with walking.]

Are you all right? There are quite a few people from my past that no matter how much I'd give to hear them again, it'd shake me up a bit, eh?

[she nods some.]

It is heart wrenching, but I am glad that I got to hear his voice again.

[she holds out the bird to him.]
