Huh.

Time sure flies when you're not paying attention, huh? It's weird to think I've been around this place for as long as it's been, even though the first part of it's kind of fuzzy.

Still, it doesn't feel like it's been a year either, although I guess taking a trip home for a year or so in between before being thrown back into the drink will probably do that.

Pretty sure there's a lot of others who've been around here longer, though.

Well, aside from the potential reincarnation of a dark god, things aren't so bad.

Aside from the general weirdness around this place, I like my crew, and the people I've met around here aren't bad. But you just forget it all like you were never here, if you go back home.

I see... That is quite a bad thing to happen. But I guess forgetting people from here when you go home... I think that is the worse thing one could happen. I wouldn't want to forget the friends I made here.

Time must work differently here than what I'm used to.

...Still. You'd hope you would make it home before a year passed. That's a long time away from your friends and family.

Hm. I've never actually considered a possibility like that. I guess it would sort of make sense that for as many worlds as there appear to be out there, some might not go by the same standards of time. ...although that's kind of hard to wrap my head around.

At first I hoped that, although chances of finding shards to do that seem pretty slim.

Time between here and home passes a lot differently though, I know that much from experience. People I left back here said I wasn't gone a month when I came back. If I'm figuring things right from what I mentioned in these journals from the first time around, I've been back home for much longer than the time I was told I went missing. What's more, I didn't remember a thing of being here, and only remembered little by little once I got back.
