[voice] Not Faye - Kidnapped
*Faye will not have been seen on her ship for at least a day. She didn't appear the previous night when she was supposed to and there was no sign of her the next day. Late into the evening, though, a gruff male voice is heard from her journal*
We have in our hands a delicious little wretch who thought she could win us out of our money. The delightful bitch won't tell us who her crew are...so here's hoping you've heard. Unless, Faye, you can be persuaded to tell us this time?
*There's a heavy thud, like a punch, followed by a quiet, muffled cry as though made by someone with their mouth gagged*
So much for co-operation.
Bring a suitable price for her, or we'll keep her to ourselves. There's plenty of her to go around and our men are rather lonely... Be a shame to ruin such a pretty face too.
*He then barks orders for how to get to their secluded little corner of a warehouse on Corsair Kingdom. When he's done there's just enough time to hear him threatening Faye before the journal appears to be taken away*
[ooc: Anyone is welcome to have some chat with the gang that have taken her. Action is for members of the Roses only]

[Thash handed the bag to the second guy, but as soon as his attention was focused more on the bag than the shark hybrid, Thash punched him in the temple hard enough at least to make him black out if not do more permanent damage. Thash didn't let his body fall though, grabbing him with both arms and lifting him over his head with an angry growl, then hurling him at the large man standing behind Faye. With how big the guy was, Thash was pretty sure having his henchman thrown at him wasn't going to hurt him much...he just wanted to distract him and back him up from Faye. If he ended up being successful at that, he'd grab her - chair and all - and bolt for the door]

*The boss guy shouted out as his man was thrown and lay crumpled on the ground at his feet. Inmediately, the guy he'd met at the entrance pulled out his knife and went to slash at Thash, aiming for his arms and chest. He had backed up a bit, shocked at what was happening and looking very angry as Thash started to drag the chair away*
Stop that bastard! I want her back!
*As Thash headed for the door, the small group playing cards sprung to their feet, some running to attack Thash, others reaching for her to drag her away. Meanwhile, Faye could do nothing but watch and scream quietly*

[he'd hoped he would be fast enough to run past them without fighting, but unfortunately that wasn't the case. He whipped at the nearest man with his tail as he set Faye down quickly, pausing just long enough to bite through the chains binding her wrists. He didn't have time to detach her from the chair or free her legs though, needing to turn and face the mob. He launched into them viciously, punching faces, biting necks and lashing his tail at any who tried to get behind him. If they were coordinated and smart enough though, they'd be able to surround him eventually]

I don't think so you little slut - you're staying with me!
Men - get the freak tied up too!

[The shark filed with fresh rage at the name the leader called Faye and the fact he was anywhere near her again. His anger managed to override his battle sense and he turned away from the mob to jump at the boss. He wanted nothing more than to feel his skin, muscle and bone being sliced through by his teeth, but all he ended up feeling was a great weight on him as he got tackled from behind. Several men had to dog pile on top of him before he was weighed down enough to have to stay put]
Grrrrrah! Get off! I'll KILL you ALL, you dirty sons of-! [his yelling was abruptly ended when he got put in a chokehold by the guy directly on top of him. Struggle as he might, they'd be able to hold him until he was weakened and bind him now]

Meanwhile, the boss moved Faye in her chair so that she was directly facing Thash, close enough that their knees were nearly touching. He gave a loud, menacing laugh, one of his hands on Faye's shoulder*
Would you look at that? The fish doesn't like seeing his bitch tied up and helpless. Well, now you've got a full view of her, freak. How do you like that?
*The hand on Faye's shoulder moved until one of his fingers slipped down between her cleavage*
Are you jealous, fishy?
no subject
[He attempted to calm down when they brought Faye to face him though, thinking the sight of seeing him so upset wasn't going to be very comforting to her. He muttered a fervent and regretful apology to her just before the ringleader started laughing. He glared daggers at the man]
Get your hands off of her, you slime ball...is this what you do for fun?! Torment women in helpless positions?! You think that makes you a man!?!
no subject
When the man touched Faye like that, she screwed her eyes tightly shut, desperate to ignore it since she couldn't get away. Still clearly enjoying this, he laughed again, glaring straight at Thash*
Tormenting her? She loves it. Can't get enough of it. She knows exactly what kind of a man I am...
no subject
You think she enjoys that? Are you blind or is that just what you have to tell yourself to justify your shameful acts?
[he almost wanted to spit at the guy but didn't to avoid hitting Faye. He'd continue to try to draw the attention to himself, though]
Your actions don't make you a man. They make you a pitiful, spineless COWARD. You're a pathetic chicken that picks on those physically weaker than himself. Why, I bet you're even too gutless to fight me one-on-one... You're afraid you'd lose! Unless you'd care to prove me wrong, you stupid bag of crap?
no subject
As Thash continued his yelling, though, the gang leader moved quickly away from Faye's chair over to Thash, glaring hard at him and bringing his face close, standing close enough that he grabbed some of his hair into his hand*
Is that what you want? You want to fight me, fishy?!
no subject
That's right! I bet you can't even take a real punch, you sorry excuse for a kidnapper. You might feel real tough doing what you want to a restrained woman but let's see you back it up. C'mon, prove you're a 'man' and fight me!
[not that Thash actually thought the guy would be any more manly if he accepted the challenge... But he was going to lay it on thick as long as it worked. He hadn't really taken the time to look over himself after the fight but if he had, he'd realize he'd gotten roughed up quite a bit... Not all of the punches and knife attacks had missed their mark earlier. He didn't feel any of it right now though with how much adrenalin he had pumping though him]

Outside of course, Arthur was readying his pistol, sword on one hip and a knife on the other. He was burnt, sleep deprived, and pissed. The moment the smoke bomb went off, he'd charge.]

Perhaps she's showing off more, but Grell decides to just let loose and takes out her DEATHSCYTHE from some pocket of reality and cut two men diagonally. Just when you didn't think there could be more red...]

Faye's head was bowed so she hadn't noticed it circling, otherwise she'd have known what it meant. As it was, when the bomb went off, Faye glanced up, startled, but clearly was unable to see anything. She made a scream against her gag, distressed at not quite knowing where Thash was more than anything. She rocked on the legs of her chair, desperate to do something.
And that was when Grell appeared. On seeing her, Faye was almost sick with shock and surprise. But when Grell sliced the men in front of her, she really did feel the sick in her throat, almost choking her.
Meanwhile, that was two men down, but both of them had time to randomly slash with their knives before falling.
The ring leader kept himself as far away from the action as he could, showing himself to be the coward he really is. From somewhere in the room he barked orders, to which several of his men got up with their guns, a few directing shots at Arthur, the others aiming at Grell*
no subject
Grell?! Er, Captain I mean... Good timing! Hey if you or Arthur could cut these chains on my wrists I can give you a hand...
[he wasn't too beat up to do some more fighting. And as long as someone freed his wrists, he could probably manage to free the rest of his body himself. But then, in Grell's case, it might well be more efficient for her to just hack through the enemies before worrying about freeing them.]
[Thash looked back at Faye, an encouraging smile on his face] don't worry Faye, we'll be out of here soon. These kidnappers are seriously screwed now...
[he knew the gore probably wasn't very uplifting to her, but he hoped to cheer her a bit with the thought of freedom coming soon]
no subject
Looks like it was your turn to get in over your head.
[He glanced over at Faye, eyes narrowing at her wounds. Oh, someone was going to pay.]
We'll get you out of here soon, Faye. My word.
[Using his knife, he quickly sliced through the ropes holding her to the chair, trying to be more gentle with the one in her mouth.]

You lot will be lucky to see the sea alive after this! [The nice thing about their guns is the fact that they can't give off many rounds. Grell takes advantage of this and disarms a good number of them. Literally.]

The opposing 'crew' were rapidly disappearing, some dead or indeed dismembered, while others screamed and tried to make their way to safety. Whatever money their boss would offer them wasn't worth this. The ringleader, still trying to hide, grabbed a couple of pistols and shot directly at Thash - blaming him for most of this. The man isn't good with a gun, but he's scared, so he isn't paying attention to where the gun is aimed. He continued to shoot as often as he could, yet still trying to make his way over to Faye*
Money! Where's my money for her?!
no subject
[soon he became aware that someone was shooting at him, though it was hard to see who at first with the room clouded by remnants of Arthur's smoke bomb. Then he saw the ringleader's face and heard his voice through the din, still arrogantly demanding money after all this. Outraged, Thash quickly glanced around to make sure no kidnappers were advancing towards Faye, then ran towards the boss. Due to his crappy aim Thash was able to avoid many of his shots simply by approaching in a zigzag pattern. But as he got closer there was no way to keep dodging. He felt a bullet graze his shoulder and another directly hit his stomach just before he slammed into his target, tackling him and knocking the weapons from his hands. He felt the pain from his wounds but ignored it, chomping viciously at the ringleader's throat in an attempt to quickly kill him]

If you think you can handle these ruffians, I'll take Faye to the ship.
no subject
Faye, meanwhile, was slumped behind Grell on the floor, her eyes coldly watching as Thash easily destroyed the gang leader*
no subject
Yeah...you can get her out of here. We can clean up, right? [he looked towards Arthur, seeing there were only a few more enemies near him for them to contend with. Thash moved over to join him, figuring it wouldn't take them long to get rid of the last few kidnappers then they could catch up to Grell and Faye]

[He flicked the blood off his his sword, side stepping to let his crewmates take over half of his opponents. He flung a blisteringly furious curse at the back of one man who'd decided to cut his losses and try to run.]
