The gods know I seriously doubt this world will fall into a repetitive wheel regarding the shit it throws at us. But I suppose it doesn't hurt to be careful and given that I know some people work better with actual warnings than with calls for their common sense...

For all of those who weren't here last year, in case no one has told you. Around those days, last year, we encountered several "ghost ships" while sailing through a thick mist. If that were to happen again, beware of them, those ghosts couldn't be harmed in any way as far as I know, yet if they touched someone they could change them. Or even outright kill them.

Now that I think of it, other than a day in which everyone talked like bad pirate imitations, the ghost ships were the first really strange shit I saw in this world. Not counting islands, of course, those are a whole different category. [Speaking of which...] Anyone knows any other way to destroy an island that doesn't involve burning it? Or at least a way to destroy the plant life there.

[Not that he plans to return just yet, not even to get rid of the flowers. But it never hurts to know.]

For now let's say it's speculating, come back in December and we will see. For now, I would say it's possible for it to repeat, even if maybe not in the same way. Last month we had that weird storm that made people act weird and, ironically, last year on the same month there was a huge storm that scattered several crews.

Not that a storm is strange by itself, but the funny thing is that those were worldwide. Never heard of that before by natural causes.

Mm...that's right, there's been a couple storms like that.

December's when I first arrived, so I'd remember that stuff. Ugh, like the cold snap. There better not be another one of those, that sucked.

What I meant with December is that if we get a repeat or a similarity this month and another in November, I'll be willing to consider that there is some pattern. So far only the storm really fits a repetition, and as you said there have been others, it could be mere coincidence two fell in the same month.

So if there's ghosts, don't touch 'em. Got it. Though keeping Luffy from touching them is gonna be a whole other battle.

Even if you don't try to touch them, if they are like last year they will be the ones trying to touch you. So even with warnings it's not going to be easy if they appear.

From what I remember those that didn't kill people transformed them into vampires, werewolves or zombies.

You sound already done, and it hasn't even started. But, who knows, maybe there are no zombies this year, or at least the ghosts that turn people into that don't touch anyone in your crew.
