Okay, clearing something up for a friend of mine who insists he's not scared of the ocean.

List of Scary Things About The Ocean:

1. Giant spider crabs

2. Giant spider crabs

3. Drowning

4. Smaller spider crabs, I don't know. Now someone else list things.

[Yes, he did just make a list out loud instead of writing it down. Don't ask. He likes the sound of his own voice.]

You can come get me too. [He grins, if that's at all possible, why not?] Sometimes I forget a lot of things. I should tell you that now.

No prob. I've had plenty of friends who couldn't remember things to save their lives, I'm pretty used to it. You forget anything, you just ask me. It's gotten beat into me to keep pretty good track of things these days.

Lea does that for me a lot too! Well sometimes he just gets annoyed and tells me to write it down already so I can learn it, but sometimes he just tells me.

You sound like a good friend Jesse. I'm glad you're mine!

[He laughs, sounding a little embarassed.]

I do my best, I guess... You seem like a good kid, so you deserve it.

[He's smiling, he doesn't know if he deserves it but there are important matters to get out of the way first.]

Hey Jesse, did you ever have sea salt ice cream?

...Can't say as I have. Sounds kinda weird... though I guess the salt and sweet thing goes together okay. Why?

Cause that's my favourite kind of ice cream! Everyone I meet's never heard it but Gaius made us some. Do you want to come have some?

I'll try not to eat it all before you come visit!

[He can't help but smile.]

All right, then it's a promise. I'm at Isla Empieza now, and then we're heading out to Cahawba, but if you can save me some...

If I can't, I'll ask Gaius to make some more. When you're ready if you're not here, you can use the Nav thingy. We're on our way to an island now.

Sounds like a deal! You'll be hearing from me. [He grins.] I'm not passing up free ice cream.
