Hello again, friends in the journal.

We have made landfall at the most incredible island yet. Nowhere have I been where the sands have been so white and clean, ready for a nice relaxing day at the beach. Among the trees there are creatures of various sizes and in the centre a lush, fertile field with large beasts roaming at their leisure.

Having gotten rid of our chickens, our boat has been very quiet, however there are a great deal of strange beasts here. I've never seen an elephant so small! I wouldn't think this island is warm enough, but it seems to be fine. Just imagine the cool breeze from the sea washing over you as-wait, is that a fish walking on land?!

[There's a little clunking noise as Sinbad races off to investigate, telling his story completely forgotten.]

[Somewhat later, he can be heard snapping his fingers.]

Right! I wanted to ask the Spades captain something. Vyse left his pet behind but also I would be interested in meeting you and your crew.

[The fact they've met before, he's forgotten.]

Do you think we could arrange something?

Ja'far sold them at the last place we went. We had a whole bunch of them and I'm better at gutting fish than cleaning chickens.

[Why would anyone want to eat a bird?! That thought is terrifying!]

I would have bought the chickens from you.

[Oh my, there is the normal Sinbad talk.]

I am well.... My crew took me to Serenes. It finds me well indeed. Might I ask my lord Sinbad the same question?

I didn't know he was going to sell them, so you'd have to take it up with Ja'far. Made no difference to me either way.

What's Serenes? Is it an island around here?

I'm fine, I'm on an adventure! [He's grinning.] Ja'far wandered off awhile ago and I haven't seen him in a bit.

[But you are eating bird! You don't eat birds!]

It is a little too late but I shall have no qualms about it.

Serenes? ..... It is an island here that is almost a replicate of my own Serenes. If you were ever to head there, please send word to me and I can pay for passage there.

You haven't? Do you know where the little one went to? [But she goes to let out a soft chuckle.] Hooo? What type of adventure?

Serenes huh? We might come across it sometime! Are there exciting creatures there? I'd love to see it.

[He hums a moment.]

Nope, don't know where he went, but he'll be back. He swore himself to me.

[And he trusts Ja'far's word.]

I'm following these walking fish to see where they're going!

No, there is no exciting creatures there, unless you are of my clan. It is just a forest to those who are not. [She goes to let out a soft chuckle.] Beorcs here seem to try and avoid Serenes as much as they can.

Walking fish? Where are you seeing those?

I know I'll visit it someday soon, yeah, I can feel it!

[He doesn't comment on that, but he's pretty sure he and Ja'far aren't really friends.]

This island! There was a really small elephant and now I'm following these fish that got up out of the ocean and started to walk. This place is filled with all kinds of weird things!

That will fill my heart with joy to hear that.

[But she goes to listen to him as he speaks, smiling to herself.]

Elephant? Might I inquire as to what an elephant is? It sounds like it would be quite the fun island that you have found.

Well usually elephants are huge! I bet most of them would be as big as my house was! But these elephants are little and don't even come up to my knees. It's an animal that has a really big long nose, and usually they're grey. And...uh...

[There's a pause as he thinks about what he knows about elephants. Not a whole lot it seems.]

I guess that's it.

[And at that, she giggles.]

They sound like they might be quite the impressive creature, my lord Sinbad. I can take it that you haven't seen any yourself?

Oh I've seen one before! I just don't know anything about it. You should ask me about fish, my lady, I know all about fish! ...well except these fish that walk on land. I wonder if they'd taste good!

[Excuse Sinbad while he chases fish excitedly.]
