*It's unusual for Selphie's voice to come across the journals in such clipped tones. Thanks to her military upbringing, Selphie knows how to talk in such a manner, and this is definitely one such time in which it is needed*

*There's a long pause, followed by a weary sigh, and she sounds more like her usual self again, only rather tired*

Really? That's impressive... [He felt around his ribs where it'd hurt before. He was pretty sure he'd fractured a rib or something while fighting the judge... but now it didn't hurt even when he put pressure on it]

That's awesome, Selphie! You're right, a spot where I was sure I got injured doesn't hurt anymore...

[The gash on his arm however, was still bleeding]

Nowhere bad, really... well, this is bleeding a bit [He held up his arm. Apparently to him, a 'bit' meant multiple thick rviulets of blood running out of a somewhat deep wound]

*She beamed at his compliment, looking rather pleased with herself. Sometimes people freaked out at her magic, but Thash seemed happy to accept it, so she was happy about that. Selphie took a look at his arm, raising a brow when he said 'a bit'*

A bit? Thash - that is way too gross to be just 'a bit'.

*Still, she busied herself with getting out bandages and some antiseptic to clean the wound with, at once carefully cleaning the blood out the way*

This is probably going to sting a bit.

Gross huh? [his head tilted a bit. He could see how she might think him licking blood was gross, but if just bleeding by itself was gross, she must be kinda blood averse in general]

It's gonna sting? [he frowned a bit, not liking the sound of that. But he held still anyway, a little tense in anticipation]

Well, there's a lot of it, that's all.

*But she doesn't seem much too bothered about it at all as she begins to clean up the wound*

Hmm - I might need to use another spell on this, just to close it up properly. What do you think?

I dunno, up to you. I used to be friends with a magic user and they said using magic can make you mentally exhausted if you use too much so....just don't leave yourself vulnerable, okay? I can always stitch it up later if It's that bad.

Well, it never used to be much of a problem, really. But for some reason, my magic just isn't as awesome here as it ever used to be.

*She shrugs with a smile, and shakes her head, already concentrating a smaller healing spell on the wound. It closes up some more, but she still decides to wrap a bandage around it*

Don't think this'll scar now. Unless you wanted it to?

[he looked down at the wound after she healed it]

Nope! Looks good. I don't try to collect scars, mostly cuz my body seems to be really resistant to scarring. Must be an Aquarian thing. Well, except in sensitive places, like there...[he gestured towards his scarred gill area]
