[He clears his throat.]

I sound funny, my hair isn't spikey anymore and I don't really know where I am. I went to sleep last night with my parrot at my feet but I woke up alone in a weird place.

Am I lost in dream?

[You can expect Roxas wandering around, rubbing his eyes sleepily and trying to figure out where he is because this is clearly not the Hazmat ship.]

[Well, he was looking out for Sora, too, but that's beside the point. No sense in confusing matters.]

You had no idea what it was that you were doing. I'm still not sure I even get what it was we were doing half the time. We were all puppets on a string for that creepy old guy and I don't even know how many of us actually knew that.

[He pauses a second to try to figure out how to say this in as few small words as possible.]

There's nothing wrong with wanting to exist. You should exist. One day you're going to have a heart that's yours.

[Maybe sooner than he thinks.]

[More to the point, he's a little alarmed.]

Lea...that isn't really possible. I wish my heart was my own...but it belongs to Sora. I don't think you can just make a heart can you?

Whatever heart you have in there is yours. Sora already has one of his own. He's had it the whole time you've been around, minus a few minutes right at the start.

[He's quiet for a moment or two, mulling over the words.]

But why would I have a heart in there? I'm a Nobody, remember? Nobodies don't have hearts...Sora would have it because I'm...I can't. Right?

[He's mildly confused and mostly looking for help understanding what Lea is going on about.]

You're a special case and don't even ask me how that all works, but I really was quoting the big guy himself there. You can't not have a heart, at least not for very long.

[There's a way to prolong it, some sort of connection to darkness, since Xemnas, Xigbar and Saïx were still around, but that would just make things even more confusing if he brought that up.]

I was a Nobody, too, you know. I even died, but here I am, having a heart-to-sort of heart with you stuck in someone else's body.

[His tone is more hopeful than anything. He lets out a sigh and rests his hand on the journal too.]

If I have a heart then you have to be able to save me. Sora doesn't need mine, he has his own.

[He sighs a little and waits a few beats.]

I wish you were here.

[Lea doesn't even pause.]

Nope. You'd be taller than me and it'd be weird.

[He sighs a little bit, just trying to relax.]

[He just has to be reminded sometimes.]

I'd come tell you that in person, but I don't know if there's a Nav I can use. Plus, if I run off, imagine all the crap I'm going to get from Selphie when she wakes up on another ship.

Somehow I don't think she can be more angry at you than she already is.

[A pause, a rustling of the paper as he shifts around.]

It's okay though. You don't have to come.

[Seriously, he'd swim over there if he could but he's tired of hearing what a horrible bastard he is.]
