Hrmmm... ever since that talent show, I've been practicin' my fingers off... I'd write this out, but my fingers are sore. So you have to deal with my voice. I know it ain't refined and crap, but anyway.

[He clears his throat.]

That show... it was... a lot of fun. So, I wanted to thank everyone who saw us. And everyone who performed... a competition is only as good as your opponents, and a lot of you kicked my hide. I've got a lot to work in order to catch up to you guys. And it made me think about how grateful I ought to be to a lot of you guys. Not just Ma and the crew, but if you think about it... there's a lot of good people out here! And we should appreciate it!

[Aaand he's tearing up. Because of course he is.]

We coulda gotten stuck with robbers and murderers and all kinds of evil people, but instead, a lot of us are gettin' along and helpin' each other out! I know there's a lot to complain about this place, but there's just as much to be grateful for! So all I wanted to say, to everyone of you.... th... thank you! Thank you very much!

..... Well you are no wuss from what I have seen and known of you. You lack confidence? [That isn't good.] Surely one that can play like that doesn't sem to be that type?

[Oh she was wishing that she was in the same area as him so that she can use her galdrar to give him a boost in confidence.]

Trust me, how I sound on the strings is really different from how I feel. I... well, my world's in a bad state of things, and I couldn't help out as much as my friends could.

But did you do what you could or did you just stand by and let things go on without lifting a finger?

[?!]

O-Of course I did what I could!

Then for what reason do you think that you have done less than your friends? To those that you have helped, do they think that what you have done is less than what you can do? Especially should they see that you have done all that you can do for them?

... In my world, there's a raging war going on. And they can fight, and use swords, and win battles... and I all can do is heal folks. It just... feels like, they're making a bigger difference than I am.

But where are they gonna go should they get injured and in need of a healer? While your role may not be out there in the battles but yours is no less important. Without people like you or I to tend to them and make sure that they can keep on fighting then it won't be long before they will fall in battle.

You must take pride in your role as there is only a few of us that can proper fill this role.
