[Nami didn't come to breakfast this morning.
And then Sanji promptly tore the ship apart looking for her, even though the sinking sensation in his stomach at the sight of her empty chair meant he already had an idea what had happened.
She's the third one this week to disappear. To go back home, supposedly.
Davy fucking Jones. Sanji's going to kick his ass.
For now, though, he's busy moping around deck, probably sprawled somewhere in a listless puddle of misery at the loss of his lovely Nami-san and Robin-chan.
And Luffy.
Eventually he decides to be productive and...pulls his journal out to snark at it.
PRODUCTIVE.]
So. Zoro's stepped up to be captain and now we're down a navigator. Deadly combination, means we're doomed to spend the new few weeks sailing in shitty circles, and then we'll probably find a way to sail off the edge of the damn ocean after that.
[Pauses for a beat, and then attempts to inject some positivity into his tone.]
Keimi-chwaaaan, you're our only hope! Save us! Please don't ever leave.

Zoro was content to leave him to it until he checked the journal (for the eight thousandth time, out of some desperate hope that one of their missing crew is just lost/captured/in a pit somewhere and needs to be picked up).
...so now he's trudging over to wherever Sanji is and kicking him rather literally in the ass]
WE ARE NOT DOOMED, ASSHOLE!
[action]
You sure about that, marimo?
[Flops onto his back. TOO DEPRESSED TO GET UP.]
Mah, well, as long as you don't go within a five-foot radius of the wheel, maybe. Or plan a course. Or accidentally look at a shitty map.
[action]
I'm not gonna touch the wheel! That ain't my job. I'm supposed to decide where to go, though. Right?
[more grumbling. Should've asked Nami about their course before she disappeared, but then, he didn't know she was going to...]
[action]
...You can't take us to Booze Lovers Only island.

Nami isn't the only Navigator we have. Keimi is very good at it. [and he's also very good at it. Neither of them will let Zoro navigate!] It's something, until Nami returns to us.
[until they all return. Or they all go home. Bepo never thought he'd miss everyone so much]
[voice]
[STERN VOICE.
But then he sighs.]
Anyway, I know there are others on board who'll keep us going the right direction. That's why I said we're depending on Keimi-chan. The rest of it... [there's a beat] wasn't serious.
[voice]
[He gave a deep grunt sound, kind of a hmm in reply. He liked Nami a lot. She was kind of loud and brash but she made sense to him.] I see. Give it a month or two. We'll see them again. [Or all of them will leave and go back home and leave the rest of them here in wonder.---grrr he misses Luffy. this is stupid]

Although I probably ought to start earning my keep some way, shouldn't I?
[voice]
[It's not the same, but he gets it.]
Eh? Like how? You do plenty, Celestia-san~!
[voice]
[She's playfully baiting him. While she may tinker with the weather or apply magic here and there, she certainly can't claim to have a title such as 'navigator' or 'cook' or 'musician'.]
[voice]
You're our weather expert! Navigation is one thing, but now...especially with Nami-san gone, we'll need your expertise and guidance even more!

You must have pissed off the navigator royally to have him ditch you like that.
[Trust Katarina to be all sass and smartass without know what the hell's going on and who's navigator.]
Voice
[Ah, but this is the voice of a lady! Despite what she's saying, that fact alone has Sanji perking up in interest. And as such, his tone is remarkably calm instead of the defensive snap he might have returned to some asshole dude.]
It's just a shitty thing that happens in this world, the whole 'people disappearing' thing.
Don't think I've spoken to you before, lovely-chan~! You are...?
no subject
People that disappear tend to not return? What happens to them?
[....more nicknames... well, she'll endure it for information. She did worse things.]
I'm Katarina. And we probably wouldn't be speaking if your voice didn't scare shit out of me, yelling so suddenly. [It made her drop the journal.]

[Never underestimate his ability to get lost, he could manage it in a shitty fishbowl.]
...Guessing you still haven't heard from Robin-chan?
[voice]
Poor direction sense seems to run in common with swordsmen. Thatch escaped it, but I think he just cheats and pretends wherever he winds up that's where he meant to be. Mihawk's been known to wind up in completely different oceans. Shanks takes too long to get anywhere on time because of it, and Rayleigh has good direction sense, but he's terrible with storms and ships. He's had to swim the distance between islands even more than Namur has.
I should tease Hoppy about it and see if she knows. [Then again that would get teasing about Marco's own fail with helms.... hm...]

You never change do you? Were things not so hectic with my own crew I might offer to come visit you lot again, and make sure that Keimi is holding up alright with the new responsibilities she'll have to take up. Will you all truly be alright Sanji?
