[ For the second time, Kosuiryo writes to the world. Her calligraphy is relaxed and her ink strokes are sophisticated. She's found peace in the shade of a sunny island's tree (laying out three of her kimono's layers and lying upon them lazily. ]

To those like myself on the Surface,

If I may ask, could I hear your heroic tales. I have met heroes among you and would like to know your stories. Ones that I may write down and keep with me when I must return home someday.

… right. Of course. [ That sounded really cool and mysterious, dang. ] So I guess about… two hundred years ago, the Fire Nation got a little high and mighty and invaded all the other nations. So, you know, that threw the entire world way out of balance, and keeping the world in balance is a thing that the Avatar is supposed to help with. Only he went missing before the Fire Nation even attacked. And then nobody saw him again for about a hundred years.
