From the Deck of the Shepherd [Voice]
[There's no preamble to this voice message. Those that know Robin know her voice. Those that do not are welcome to get to know her one on one.]
Green Breeze reminds me somewhat of Green Bitt, though it's decidedly less peopled, and more mountainous. However, that wasn't always the case. Has anyone mentioned that there are ruins everywhere on this island? Not just scrolls. Buildings and arches and mosaics line the mountainside. They wrap around it in one continuous terrace, though at sea level it looks like many. The wind can be quite harsh as you move to higher altitudes. I'm wondering if any of you brave Shepherds would be willing to chance the weather in the name of scientific exploration? I'd need a team of three to four, most likely, including myself, and the expedition may take a couple of days. We'd need to scout the forest as well- the one with all the wind chimes, yes. There may be something significant in there, and it would be a shame to miss it simply because the location is creepy.
I'd like to consult with anyone skilled in mapmaking or navigation. I would like to devise a way to document the location of this island, in case other archaeologists or I would wish to return and continue the work I've begun.
Luffy, Sanji, Usopp, Brook, and everyone else in my crew, we are doing well. Let's keep in touch, hm?

[if it sounds like he's rolling around it's only because he is] Is it under any cool clouds?
voice
If you come here though you'll have to head away from Candy Mountain...
[She's pretty sure, anyway.]
voice
I don't see any horse tail clouds. [peer peer] Is there anything shaped like a turtle with three horns?

Are they really that similar?

[And... taller than three feet.]
You aren't secretly interested in history, are you, Vice-Admiral?
[Voice]
Those who don't learn from history are doomed to repeat it, after all.

[And sorry for laughing. She is neither surprised, nor really worried. You have Luffy with you, after all.]
Try not to worry and enjoy the adventure, hm?

[he has all sorts of great ideas today!]

What questions do you have about navigation and map making? I'm a cartographer, and I am taking notes about this world myself for future reference.

I wonder if there is a way to essentially find one's position in the world in order to accurately put it on a map when there is no prior point of reference.

I've yet to find one, unless we use Empieza as a central point and communicate with eachother about the relative time it takes to travel from Empieza to another one of the islands, and from one island to the next.
Unfortunately, I've had mixed reactions to this. One person told me that it was absurd. Another thinks it could be an interesting undertaking.
What do you think?

Robin-chwaaaaaan, a couple of days?? I want to go with you!!
[voice] 2/2
Ah, after all, several days alone in a...creepy forest could be very---romantic!

[Keimi has hardly seen any human cities, let alone an ancient abandoned one. This is a great opportunity to take in the sights.]

Think you can take some notes?
