[Katarina just chuckles at that and closes the book. She dealt with sharks before. Rather, fishes with sharks as pets. Same thing, basically, since shark is always out to eat them for snacks.

Nothing she can't deal with.

She's leaned against the crates, cleaning her knife. She's in no hurry as long as she gets to those canons.]

*Faye glances around her, looking for whoever this person might be that she's just had ro listen to over the journal. She spies the other woman leaning against some crates, recognising her as an older and taller version of the girl who planned to throw her overboard*

Canons need cleaned carefully.

*That's all she says, and heads straight for where the canons are carefully kept*

[The woman that came up from below the deck seemed familiar to Katarina. She furrowed her brows trying to remember but everything was foggy. Oh well, if she can't remember, it probably isn't important.

She falls into step next to her, putting her blade away-]

I know. I studied all the weapons back at the Academy, so you don't have to worry about that. [There probably isn't a weapon or blade she can't recognize.]

Did you truly expect children to trust a stranger? On a ship?

Didn't expect anyone to trust me.

But I did remember why it was that I stopped being so nice to anybody anymore.
