'Kay, seriously. WHY THE HELL'RE WE GOIN' 'ROUND THIS DAMN REEF 'GAIN? Been circlin' this shitty thing for like a MONTH or some shit. Honestly!

[OKAY so it's only been a couple of weeks. But still.]

Runnin' outta damn fish 'round here cuz the schools is all swimmin' off. Not that anyone other'n maybe Nami gives a shit, but if we don't head off for an island soon Y'ALL'RE GONNA BE BITCHIN' 'BOUT STORES AN' SHIT. Did someone let Marco drive or somethin'?

Really though there's somethin' important I wanted t' say. 'Bout swimmin'. This's mostly for the Spades cuz I ain't 'round no one else t' fish y' outta the deep but it's a good thing for y' t' talk 'bout in yer crews. Who the hell knows how t' swim? Who don't know how t' swim but could learn? How many a y' out there's a bunch a shitty hammers an' all y' can do is sink? If yer a Spade, sound off here before I find y'. Else we'll find out the fun way which ones a y' float, sheheheheheh!!!

[True to his word, Namur will be stalking about both the Sun and the Moon. If he catches someone that hasn't already talked to him about their ability to swim (or lack thereof) he'll promptly throw them overboard. For science, or some shit.]

Oh. Hey Namur. Yeah...I guess so? [A beat] What are you doing up there?

[He grins, then crunches up to grab the boom in both hands to do a sort of flip off the bottom and land heavily in front of her.]

Jus' hangin' 'round.

[Namur drapes his arm over Asami's shoulders and starts walking her toward the nearest rail.]

Now look, sis. Got kinda this thing goin' on right now where I realize I don't know who all needs savin' an' who don't if we all get swept off by a wave or some shit, catch me? Told everybody they gotta pipe up on the journals whether or not they sink or swim an' there's a pretty li'l voice I ain't heard yet.

[She can see where this is going, can't she?]

[Yeah...Asami has a good idea where this is going. She caught sight of the journal entry but didn't think to respond right away, plus she didn't really expect Namur to throw anyone over.

And now she doesn't know why she thought that in the first place. He so totally would. She just places a hand on her hip and shakes her head]

Namur. You can't just throw people overboard like that, especially when we're moving. [Sort of. They're just going around in circles. But he's going to anyway, isn't he?] And for the record, I can swim.

Ain't hurtin' no one. But it's a hell of a motivator t' sound off in the journal, ain't it?

[He lifts his brow ridges emphatically.]

'S a lot easier on me if people do it that way anyway.

[And he pats her shoulder. She told him so she's off the hook, as it were.]

But people 'round here don't like t' listen t' nobody 'less they got a reason. So I give 'em a reason. Simple as that.

[Okay okay, he kind of has a point. Not that she would do it that way but still. So she crosses her arms instead and her voice sounds a lot less stern now]

You haven't thrown anyone yet, have you?

Couple people. Made sure they had fun 'fore we hopped back aboard. Think a the sea like a bigass swimmin' pool. Sheheh!

I think it's more like a dangerous swimming pool. [A very dangerous one. With weird ~~normal~~ sharks and violent currents] But so long as no one is hurt.

Ocean'll be yer best friend if y' learn how t' deal with her right. Want me t' teach y'?

[Asami actually lets out a small chuckle at that and raises her hand a little]

No, that's okay. I'm good at taking care of myself, I think I'll be able to handle it.

[How the hell is he supposed to find an excuse to splash around with her in the water if she keeps wriggling away like that?]

[How about stop being an idiot and just ask her, moron?]

Well, y' wanna go swimmin' anyway?

[Now that wasn't so hard, Namur. Asami does blink though]

I just finished up. [Doing whatever work it was she was doing. idk] But I have the free time now. Just give me a minute to go back and change, I'm not going in my clothes.

[Well that escalated quickly. Namur blushes.]

Won't hear me complainin' none if y' don't wanna wear clothes. Might draw a bunch a company if any a the boys catch sight a y' like that though. Jus' sayin'.

[Slap him, Asami. Seriously.]

[She's wearing a swimsuit you dud. And she doesn't slap him, but she does sort of give him a non-confrontational shove with her elbow as hard as she can. Just enough so he gets the message.

Then arms folded and a froooown]

Do you want me to swim or not?

[He can't stop laughing now.]

Sheheheh shit, yer the one that said it sweetheart, not me!

[But it's okay, she can elbow him as much as she wants.]

'S fine, either way. Jus' took me by surprise is all. Go get in yer suit, shit.

[Her arms are still folded and she still sounds annoyed, but it's fading into something more indifferent now]

[And she turns around in the direction of her room to go get in her swimsuit]

[He knows he probably shouldn't antagonize the women on the crew but damn that was funny. Namur goes to the rail and starts practicing doing handstands and spins, using the movement of the ship to hone his sense of balance and control.]

[And yet she still hangs out with the fishman. Asami eventually comes back with her 1920's style swimsuit on and places her towel on the railing, guessing Namur probably won't be needing one. Being a fishman and everything.

She'll then pull herself up to sit on the opposite side of the railing facing out to sea, but peers back at Namur doing his spins and handstands. She can't help but ask]

...So are you a dancer too?

[Namur does a flip off the rail and lands in a crouch.]

When there's music. Works for fightin', too. Gotta have more'n jus' a killer sucker punch. Sheheheh!

[The swimsuit's totally hot even if it isn't skimpy. It's how you wear a thing sometimes that makes all the difference. Damn, it's too bad she doesn't smell interested.]

[Asami gave him a side glance before leaning her head down to look back down at the water]

I didn't take you as the type to do that sort of thing.

What, breakdance? [He shrugs.] What can I say, I got good hearin', an' the beat jus' makes me gotta move. Y' like dancin' too?

It's fun, but admittingly...I don't do a lot of it. [For whatever reason] I've never of breakdance. What kind of style is it?

What y' saw there on the rail. Remember Deesuko Ballia? The music y'd hear in a lotta them clubs is what it goes to. Heavy downbeats, 'lots a 'lectric instruments, sometimes stickin' it int' a machine an' breakin' it apart t' build it back up 'gain as somethin' new.
