I have thought things over and officially I have decided that I'm going to sail alone the moment I can, helping those who should ask for it. If you do need help right now, I'll be happy to come on over, but I have another question.

While I am on the Sinewave ship still, I don't actually know how long it will be before we get to the next island, so I was wondering if anyone would be willing to let me come aboard their ship. This is more a question to those currently on Isla Empieza as I would need to get a ship and that seems like the best place.

To those on the Sinewave, I do apologize but after what's happen I just need to travel and help those who need it more. For now I don't know if I'll ever return or not, but for now this is for the best.

I'm fine. It didn't effect me too badly, just knocked me for a loop a bit.

But I am looking forward to what lies ahead of me.

But even if it's only been a couple of months, it's still enough to learn how to get around on one of those boats and how to take care of yourself without help. That's a lot. I think that's a lot, anyway. I didn't even know boats could come in that many sizes. Did you? Before you got here?

I didn't either honestly. But then again one wouldn't think they would need to know how to sail one either, so having a learn it all was an interesting experience. I think you might like it very much.

Well, it's not like I can really avoid learning. So I might as well make the best of it.

I do hope you enjoy your time sailing alone. I think you'd like it more if you had a friend, but sometimes just having time to yourself is good.

There's a reason I choose to go by myself rather than ask someone, but maybe with time I can have others join me.

I will be yes. I'll be as careful as I can be anyway.

Maybe you'll sail near my crew sometime.

Maybe. We'll see. I actually hope to sail near most crews at least once.

And you already know how to handle a ship on your own?

I haven't been here for long, but I have most things memorized. So working on a sail boat would be a good idea at least.

Fast learner, huh? Hearing that from you, I'm not too surprised. [Though she is impressed.]

So what kind of help are you looking to give out?

I am, especially when you end up in strange situations. You either learn fast or it won't end well.

Anything someone might need help with, within reason. For example helping someone to help rescue someone they care about I will do. But going into a fight to destroy something they don't need to, I won't help with.

So I guess this means that your plans for that game you wanted to do are going to be postponed for a while.

Possibly, at least until I get settled.

Makes sense, I was just curious is all.

I take it you want to play a game, correct.

I couldn't agree more with that more. It gives something new to learn just by meeting someone new.

You could probably learn a lot from me since I'm a mermaid.

Somewhat. What the surface world has said about my kind isn't entirely correct.

Oh really. Then I am interested to know about the differences or what is true and what isn't.

I don't have many human features, for starters. No hair, my eyes are different, and I don't have the same skin as you guys.

That's interesting, I guess you would be more along the lines of fish. Though I did always wonder why they give mermaid human features when we cannot breath underwater ourselves.

I don't really understand that. Why would we have human hair if we live underwater? It doesn't really make sense to me.

I always wondered that, but it seems it's something people like to believe.

It's a weird story to have. I don't ever want to have human hair or legs. I'm happy with the way I am right now.

I can't really say honestly because it depends ultimately on the individual.

Humans worry about the strangest things....

They do, but that could be because they care, after all you would worry about the things you care for wouldn't you?

That's obvious, I just don't see the point in worrying about what you look like.

I can't say I understand why people do, I just know people do. But maybe it is a confidence thing.
