Elsa is nakama. [the rest of it doesn't matter. He stretches down a hand to her] Come on!

[She just chuckles and takes his hand ready to be pulled up because that's what Luffy does.]

If you're sure. Have you got many visitors already?

[he pulls her up gently and sets her on the roof beside him] Yeah. Chandra... and Old man Rayleigh said he would, too... [he frowns.] I hope she'll be okay... Na. Be careful when kissing guys, alright?

I'm not going to kiss any guy, Luffy. It would be too dangerous, remember? All the ice and cold.

[No one would enjoy that and she wouldn't allow them to even try.]

That's fine. Kisses make you hot so it would just melt. But if you aren't careful you could get cooties and get really sick! [he wasn't sure if she knew cuz he didn't] Maybe if you don't care you could kiss girls instead.

[She opens her mouth to reply to the temperature comment, but then Luffy continues and she just closes it to stare for a moment.]

Cooties? Luffy, cooties don't exist, that's what children say to excuse not interacting with the opposite gender and what adults use so children won't imitate certain behavior like kissing.

Saying that cooties exist is... Is like saying that the One Piece and the All Blue don't exist and that it's a waste to look for them. A lie.

[It doesn't occur to her that maybe it's not a good idea to try to clear that misunderstanding.]

Eh? [that's a pretty big statement for him and at first he's startled by it-- ]

Are cooties not existing really that big a thing? [he'd never even heard of them before] That boob girl said I could accidentally make a girl sick without knowing it because boys had those...

Mmm, maybe not that big, but it's definitively a lie. And a horrible one at that, since it's used to not interact with others or certain people.

[Not that Elsa has experienced it first hand, she used something more solid and real to avoid interactions: a closed door.]

Don't you realize it? That girl basically told you that you would make others sick if you interacted with them, sure it was just about kissing but she could have told you it was for any interaction. Would you still have believed that?

[oh. Now he got it. He inched a bit closer so their shoulders were bumping and thought a moment]

I dunno. Depends on what she said. It's really important cuz I don't wanna hurt anyone even accidentally. [but that was kind of careless. Cuz that's what she was afraid of, too, right? So he got it a little.]

I'm glad it's not true, though! [and he bumps her shoulder with his]

[She sighs, smiling slightly and pretty unimpressed. Really, if there's someone who knows about not wanting to hurt anyone accidentally and be a real danger to them, it's Elsa. Though now maybe he can understand a bit better where she comes from.]

I know you don't want to hurt anyone. I don't want to either, but unlike my powers, cooties don't exist. I promise you, there's no way you would make anyone sick.

[Pause.]

Except sick with worry but that's a different matter.

[She's just joking... Okay, not totally joking, but she doesn't say it as if it's a bad thing either.

She notices him inching closer and bumping her shoulder, it makes her smile and she bumps back in response. And her tone is full of tease when she speaks again.]

Because now you can kiss whoever you want without worry?

shishishi I'm used to that! [but they'd be okay. He nods at the last bit]

Yeah! Want one, Elsa? I can heat up my face if you're worried!

Why do you want to kiss people anyway?

[Evading the question with another question.]

Because it's fun and sometimes makes you feel dizzy! And there's different kinds, too. Like, sometimes its soft and sometimes its rough and sometimes it just is. [nods]

So you don't know what a kiss means?

[She arches an eyebrow, she wouldn't be surprised if he doesn't know. Or doesn't understand it.]

[that was one of the consequences of this kind of thing, he guessed. Having this kind of conversation with everyone. But that was okay, he got it, and he was starting to get something else, too]

Whatever you decide it means. Some kisses are when people really like each other, and some are used to hurt other people, and some are rival kisses which are really awesome~~ shishishi {he wants to get in a place where he can do that one again!] And some are cuz you promised and some are just for fun.

So if I was gonna kiss you it would be just for fun and because you're nakama. But if you don't wanna, that's okay.

[With the way Luffy is, no one can blame them for wanting to make sure that he knows what he's doing. Especially with this kind of thing.

Elsa smiles and nods, satisfied with the answer. She's not really surprised anymore, because it's not the first time Luffy shows that he knows more than it seems. Or at least that he thinks about it more than it seems. However, she's distracted by something.]

Rival kisses? What are those?

They're really cool. I was mad at him so I fought him but I lost and I stole a kiss and that was intense and then he took it back and that was super intense!

I wanna do it again but I gotta get stronger so I can beat him next time!

[She can't help but roll her eyes a bit and chuckle. Why is it that she finds herself hardly surprised by hearing that? She doesn't ask who it was, it doesn't really matter.

She looks down for a moment, thinking back to his own question before venturing an answer.]

Would it be okay if I say "maybe later"?

You can say whatever you want! You can even say, not ever no way! haha I don't mind.

No, I wouldn't ever say that to you.

[Despite the short time, Luffy is important to her, maybe because he reminds her of Anna at times, maybe because of the times in which he doesn't remind her of anyone. She doesn't really care why it has turned out this way, not when she's happy and feeling as if she's starting to actually live after so many years.

And as a friend and nakama, she could kiss him and hug him. But despite her advances and everything, it's still too soon for that.]

I just... I think I need some more time to finally feel that I've a strong foothold on everything. I'm sorry.

It's okay~ Don't worry, Elsa. We're gonna be together for a long time so it's alright. [he bumps her shoulder again]

I'll save one for you just in case! shishishishi

[She giggles and answers the bump once more, giving him a teasing look.]

You better do so, I will get very angry if I come for it and find that you gave it to someone else.

[As if kisses were a limited supply.

She giggles for another moment before she looks down, her expression falls into a pensive one as she observes the street under them.]

Luffy... Would it be okay to ask you something? Something important.

No way! Elsa's kiss is just for Elsa!

[doom!]

[but then he smiles]

Sure. What's up?

[And then she never came to claim it. The End.]

[She looks down to her hands, resting on top of her lap as always. It's something she has been thinking about in the last weeks since their visit to Malihini and her talk with Zoro there. Eventually, the shards will be gathered, and they will return to their worlds, maybe those who wish to stay for whatever reason will be able to do so, but the chances of that are even more slim than of the gem doing as the legend claims. And even if she could stay in this world... Would that really be what she wanted?]

I know it's far too soon to ask, but... When the shards are gathered and the gem completed if it's possible to make a wish to return to our worlds...

[She looks at him shyly, unsure and and worried all at once.]

Would it be okay if I wished to go to your world with you all and sail with you until you become the Pirate King?

[Back in Arendelle there's nothing for her. Only Anna, and that's not something she can have, no matter how much she wishes for it. She could use the wish to change their lives, to make her powers unable to hurt or even remove them entirely... But she has allowed Anna to be hurt for far too long for something like that being able to fix everything. Not to mention that with the way the dignitaries reacted to her powers, her keeping them or not would make little difference.

No, returning to Arendelle would only bring forth more pain for everyone, and most especially to Anna. And Elsa doesn't want that. Anna deserves the crown, the open gates and the warm summer, she deserves someone by her side who loves her and is able to show her said love... Even if that someone ends being a man she barely knows. She deserves her own life and by vanishing entirely from that world is the best way in which Elsa can grant her that.]
