Color me confused because I was sure I was finished with this stuff. [It was as visible as day how annoyed Katarina is as she speaks.]

I thought I was over and done with pirates for decades to come. I had enough of their pitiful trifles over gold and politics. As if Gangplank and Fortune aren't enough of a trouble as it is. [The pirate and the pirate hunter. She doesn't know how she got dragged into their political squabble. She supposes it was Swain's fault in the end- he did have his eye on Miss Fortune for a long time.]

I still can't wash clothes from Bilgewater's stench. While I don't like to ask for help, it would be good to hear from someone how to leave. Noxus is of bigger importance to me than this... shipyard. Then again- I can always 'extract' information if they keep silent. No one said I have to be -nice-.

If you're stuck here like us, you gotta make friends. Plus you're going to want to sail around, right? People probably won't wannna be on a crew with someone that pokes them with sharp things, y'know.

Actually, people don't want to sail with cowards on ships. And I say this from experience. Besides- I was already asked by a lovely lady in red to join her crew. She seemed quite happy by the way I handle things.

That's bullshit! I'm always the first into a fight, y'know! Everybody knows I'm not a coward!

Then why do you say you don't go around "poking" people when you clearly stated that you fight?

It's not like I start the fights or poke people just to get info. Usually it's because I'm protecting my friends or allies.

Hm. That makes me wonder how did you manage to live this long. Information is power, and power is everything. At least from where I come from.

Sounds like where you're from sucks then.

To each his own. My country is the best for me, and I am sure you wouldn't replace your own for anything.

Well, power isn't everything, y'know. Even if you're the strongest person in the world, it would suck if you were alone.

Heh, I dunno who Garen is, but I've been called a fool before. I'm Uzumaki Naruto!

Katarina Du Couteau. Basically everyone's a fool until proven wrong.

[obstinates]

So that includes you, eh?

I have rank of High Command and I am leader of Crimson Elite group. I was never called a fool in my life. I think I am miles away from it.

[obstinates]

Sounds pretty important, but poking people you don't know just because you won't say "please" is pretty foolish if you ask me. So! I guess you're just as bad as I am, eheheh.

I never had the need to say "please". [People know who she is and what her status is. She worked her ass off for it.]

Making people fear you is foolish? I think it's rather amusing to watch them squirm away in fear.

Yup, pretty foolish. If you ever need help or a friend, nobody will want to help you out. Basically you won't have any allies at all. You can't accomplish everything you want all by yourself.

[That's a lesson he's learned well.]

But that's precisely what I did all these years and I am perfectly fine with that. And if this place sucked me in to teach me the meaning of "allies" and "assistance" then we have a problem. I'd rather do stuff on my own rather than have a nuisance trying to help me. [She always ends up having to pay bigger price than needed.]

It sucks being alone though.

[That statement takes her down to the memory lane and she is silent for few moments before answering in flat, but tense voice-]

People get used to trivial stuff like that. [Obviously it's not trivial, but she's not about to admit anything to some guy that she didn't even see face.]

Nobody gets used to that.

[Something else he knows firsthand thanks to the life he's led. Luckily, things are a lot better than back then, but he knows how hard it is for anyone to be alone. Nobody should have to deal with that.

Anyways, I hope you make some friends, Katarina Du Couteau. Just don't poke people and you'll be fine, y'know. Can't hurt to try it like that for a little while.
