Sorry for my state in the last post, and thank you very much to those sweet enough to humor me, you're too kind.

Bepo, and Vyse, I have duplicates of my maps for you, assuming you both still want them.

For everyone else, I've made about twenty copies of various maps and directions to the Corsair Naval Masquerade Ball. Likewise, in the interest of furthering piracy rebelling against lawful order, I will teach the basics of ranks to anyone with enough brains to actually hold the knowledge. Remember, if you want to go, wear formal costume, and pretend to be part of the navy. Anyone in the Spades wishing to help infiltrate must be able to perform a correct salute and demonstrate ability to discern when it's appropriate. Those who cannot may help infiltrate as waiters.

Edited Addendum: Dance lessons for Spades unfamiliar with waltz, samba, and tango will be held every night this week. Namur's breakdance competition comes with a reward, but this style of dance is not acceptable for naval officers, sorry Nam-chan.

No, animals are completely allowed, just make sure Ace doesn't try to eat him.

And Ace's little brother whenever he's over. I think they're starting to remember that not everyone grew up in the Jungle Book like them, but they're kind of slow sometimes.

The Jungle Book...? [ Ah, whatevs. He doesn't read much anyway. It's down to the principle of unethical animal companion consumption. ] Well, if someone wants to eat Pabu, they'll have to eat me first just to get to him. And I'm probably very gamey!

It's a book about a boy, raised by wolves, who fights tigers and boa constrictors. Ace and his little brother are practically carnivores and the more wild the meat, the happier they are.

In any event, just tell him no, and he's usually pretty good about it. He's not always an idiot, he's just a D, so it comes out sometimes. Plus, Pabu is pretty small if I remember right, so he'd be less likely to bother. If you had a bear, it'd be another story. He still keeps traumatizing Bepo, poor thing.

Then you'll be fine. Just make sure you remind him and collect enough of the right kind of food when you need it. Chef Zeff is pretty good about his stores, but he doesn't allow sneaking food, so just make sure you're clear in advance.

If it's a lot like this, I'd need a village of earthbenders for a crew or something. We could just float an island around! Boom. Fighting problems, all fixed up. [ Things to eventually propose to Mako, item #1. ] But it still sounds like it can be pretty great. We don't get a lot of regular ol' adventuring under our belts back home. There's some traveling around, but it's usually because there's something super important we have to get to in time, so it takes away from the mystery, you know?

Ah, but in my world, there isn't a lot of land in general. I'm not sure how hard that might be to do. I know Shiki mentioned trying something like that, but that was fuck... over a decade ago? And we haven't heard from him since. [Only because Marco was extremely busy during Shiki's grand return.] You'd also have to make sure the World Government didn't catch you, or they'd put you to work as slaves doing weird shit. [LONG AWKWARD PAUSE; in which Marco realizes (~~or possibly remembers? Thanks Oda for making a character that knows way more than has been revealed in canon fuck~~) that actually might be how the Red Line got formed. WELP. He doesn't want to think too much about it.]

So your world is all mapped then?

Uh... yeah? To both questions. I mean, I can't really say if there are actual villages full of only earthbenders, but the Earth Kingdom's pretty huge, so there are enough of us out there to fill a town out without a lot of trouble. And the world's definitely mapped out! The Spirit World isn't so much, but...

Well, either way, it'd be nice to pass on the slavery. So. I guess I don't really know how moving a whole island all the time might work out, anyway. Especially not on another world.

What's the spirit world?

The world where all the spirits live. Oh, wait, used to live. They sort of still do live there, but we've got an open doors both ways thing going on now. I haven't seen much of it, but what I did see was pretty creepy. [ That was probably because of the spirit of darkness and stuff though. ]

That sounds pretty amazing.

What are the spirits like?

The spirits are-- I mean, I guess they're sort of, uh... diverse? Actually, it's kind of hard to explain, let me just...

[ Some clatters all up in here while he goes a-searching. For some kind of writing type utensil. Once he's got it, he just sort of shoops out a couple of things that he thinks he remembers being spirity at him tbh. ]

Okay, so kind of like this stuff! But with more glowing. And there was kind of a spirit of chaos and darkness messing with things, so they were also pretty much trying to kill me whenever I saw them. There are a lot of different spirits out there. And that's not even counting the ones who are humans! It's pretty crazy.

I don't suppose there's a phoenix spirit, is there?

I'm not much for a spiritual authority, but I don't see why there wouldn't be. I mean, I think there must be some kind of "if you can't think of why there wouldn't be one, there probably is one" rule in play.

You could probably ask Korra! She was kind of signed on as the bridge between worlds until she left the portals open. I don't know how on board she'd be for talking about spirit stuff, but trying never hurt.
