[Written] And now for something completely different from the last time
Marco here.
Sorry for my state in the last post, and thank you very much to those sweet enough to humor me, you're too kind.
Bepo, and Vyse, I have duplicates of my maps for you, assuming you both still want them.
For everyone else, I've made about twenty copies of various maps and directions to the Corsair Naval Masquerade Ball. Likewise, in the interest of furthering piracy rebelling against lawful order, I will teach the basics of ranks to anyone with enough brains to actually hold the knowledge. Remember, if you want to go, wear formal costume, and pretend to be part of the navy. Anyone in the Spades wishing to help infiltrate must be able to perform a correct salute and demonstrate ability to discern when it's appropriate. Those who cannot may help infiltrate as waiters.
Thank you.
- Marco
Edited Addendum: Dance lessons for Spades unfamiliar with waltz, samba, and tango will be held every night this week. Namur's breakdance competition comes with a reward, but this style of dance is not acceptable for naval officers, sorry Nam-chan.
[Locked to Nico Robin]
I am embarrassed to say I have about three favors to ask of you.
[Locked to Grell Sutcliff]
Hello Kitten. How do you feel about getting a little vengeance, eh?
[Locked to Sebastian]
My phoenix brother and I are in the mood to spread our wings. Think you can get a babysitter that night to come have fun?

And there was the other phase of Marco's plan. There was a reason he wanted the names and Thatch well knew what it was. He would leave Marco to it because it suited his own vengeance just fine-- so what was pricking at him about it?]
I'm going to have to bring Lea in on some of this. It will be easier to sweep the room if there's more than just me and we want to find who we're looking for sooner rather than later.
[even if they acted later, if there was chaos, Marco would know who to look for.]
I'll keep order for you, brother, [in terms of keeping the crew organized] as much as I can but it's not going to sit well with everyone.
[as much as they are the "Spade Pirates", not everyone understands what that entails. There's a difference between sailing together and throwing your lot into any situation just because your captain ordered. Though... in this case it wasn't even Ace. That night their captain would be vengeance.]

action
[not what he meant exactly, but how he is now there's no talking to him and explaining it would just be fairly pointless as it is important but it isn't. At any rate it's Thatch's job to take care of the crew. Not Marco's.]
Where do you want me?
[because he sincerely doubts his ability to infiltrate with the six foot and under crowd-- he can do a little but it's mostly what he needs Lea for, to be honest]
action
I'm going to get revenge. And I don't promise not to go big.
action
Understood.
[not liked. But he would follow Marco regardless]
action
[So Marco just leans his head against Thatch's chest wearily.]
[Everything's been shit for the entire year since Thatch died, and even here in this place, he's pent up about it. Who is he? He's Marco, and he wants vengeance.]
[He missed him. It was just a few days again but he missed him, like he always does. And he hates being that codependent, but Thatch is one of a kind, the only Thatch there ever was and ever will be.]
[He's burning inside with so much rage, and anger, and hate, and violence, and none of it has an outlet.]
[But he quietly counters it with the love for his brother so at least he can keep breathing.]
Where do you want to be?
[It's still a dark grin, the kind of feral ferocity that usually came when Marco ate a lot of meat and his zoan side started getting out of control, but it's still a grin, and not nearly as psychotic as half of Marco's.]
action
With you always.
[by which he means he'll take care of things somehow. He's not sure how but he knows his own business]
And afterwards, somewhere new, aye? [and somewhere that wouldn't make everyone crazy in one way or the other]
Maybe that Candy Mountain?
action
[Thatch is the best.]
Gods, no. [A laugh.] Do you remember Valentine's Day? Roxas would probably go nuts.
Ah, you know what I miss?
action
What do you miss, baby bird?
action
It's been ages since we've been to one.
I got to do some flying around the island and map it, but it's like I told Sebastian, it seems like I only get to spread my wings to fight most days. I want to go back where I belong.
[WELL. He belongs in the crew, but his head is still messed up about that right now.]
action
[they must be out there somewhere. He'd start to look for rumors or even to watch the clouds for a place to go. He raises his other hand and places it below the first, massaging Marco's neck and trying to rid him of some of the tension. As much Marco will allow him. He knows a part of the phoenix wants to hold onto this feeling. It feels right. Good. Vengeance is what they do so he wants to remain focused throughout.
But being a little grounded will only help in he long run]
Just don't forget the people that love you, eh? I won't give you up, brother. Not even to the [darkness] sky.
action
[He knows you meant darkness and not sky too.] Calvin mentioned a floating island in his world too. It was months ago, but it's been on my mind.
Ah come on, don't be so dour. [He leans up to run his fingers through the pompadour in order to piss Thatch off.] It'll be fun, eh? Besides, who better than Ace for infiltrating navy? [And he remembers vaguely he needs to ask Ace about the Grell thing. Or maybe not. He hasn't decided on whether it should be secret or his curiosity is prompted by good reasons yet.]
action
Aye, Ace will enjoy himself, no doubt. I wonder if I'd be able to swan in there without being recognized...
[there's probably a really good buffet for one thing]
action
action
[he ruffles his own pompadour a bit, separating the hair and pushing it back]
You'll have to do something with your pineapple, too.
action
Well nevermind. But fedora, definitely.
[COMPLETELY MESSES WITH THATCH'S HAIR BECAUSE HE LOVES YOU BRO.] No idea. You should ask Selphie and Chandra.
action
[lets Marco do as he pleases] Nah, if the commander of the fourth division can't figure out his own hairstyle then how can anyone look up to him?
action
Don't call me Chirpco, Thatchette.
action
action
[Starts walking away.]
action
Yes.

action
[Must.]
[Not.]
[Be.]
[Fazed.]
[ICKY.]
Robin.
AH SHIT.
No!
SHUT UP!
I HATE YOU!
[D:]
action
That's so cute. Hatchling is growing up!
[though he's teasing for the most part]
