[ Here you go, journal. Teenager guy here leaving you all a message. He sounds like he has a rough Australian accent, and wants to say things in the most complicated way possible. But here we go: ]
Is this thing on—
Ah, yes! I dare say I hope I am using this vocal gizmo-gadgetry exceptionally well. Um. Still getting used to here.
I have several proposals for the lot of you, if you could spare me a few moments.
It seems I have been awkwardly stationary here in this main port, becoming friendlies with the folk here who don't particularly seem to be bothered to be in a rush with things. I'm becoming rather low on funds, and as tempting as it seems to part ways with my twin beauts, I don't think that is a feasible exchange.
The pirate life of things seems terrific, but I'm rather.. oh how do I say it— uncertain, unmotivated— it's a troublesome predicament. Do I just simply ask? I think I should just simply ask.
I would like to be a member of some sort of crew! I've come to my conclusion that none of my comradaries are present in this sort of universe which is all in all heartbreaking— as I am a bit deterred as to where to start without them.
Secondly!
We ought to be friends! I'm not used to having many friends, but I would like some!
Below are the criteria in written of my all and all interests! I seem to have misplaced my characteristic green marker, so black will have to do for now. Ta-ta for now!
1. An interest in all sorts of rifles and pistols. My grandmother owned a rather impressive gun business back in the day in to which i inherited a huge amount of firearms before i was brought here. I carry two berettas myself strictly as defense sometimes, and spend long hours defending monsters to protect myself my entire life. If any of you are in need of any sort of protection, let me know.
2. An interest in reckless roughhousing in to which i refer to as fisticuffs!! Gosh nelly, do i love doing that. Fighting for sport in order to gain a better talent at defending off scoundrels. A good scrum and what have you is beneficial to my body... im not exactly sure about you but i practically thrive on it. If you want a sparring partner of some sort.
3. An interest in earth movies of all kinds. There really isnt a bad movie out there in my honest opinion. I am especially fond of superhero and action movies and romantic comedies and my favorite movie is weekend at bernies. Ive yet to find somebody else who thoroughly enjoys partaking in the viewing of that specific movie. Kudos to anybody who perhaps owns any movie posters and wouldnt mind sharing since i have been itching to catch a proper gander at angelina jolies visually pleasing thighs for some time now.
4. Comic books. Bonus points if youre actually from a comic i would love to meet you. I had an impressive collection back home on my island and found myself drawn especially to the spider girl series.
5. If you come from my world that is filled with game sessions, dream selves and puzzle moduses, echeladders, etc i would appreciate it if we made contact post haste.

[...godspeed, Hachiken.]
I'd be happy to take you in, if you'd like! But I also know a thing or two about the other crews; maybe I can help you find some of your buddies, in case they don't get on the journals much? Who are you expecting to see?
[voice]
I'd really like to go about and explore! It's been—ay caramba— entirely too long since I have done a bit of the ole scout-about. Last bit of exploring I did didn't meet my kind of expectations. Quite, it was a disappointment.
Oh, um. My pals from back home. They're all about my age, around sixteen. Jane is an excellent little baker, she is. A very good companion of mine. And Roxy, she's a smart girl, she is, with a fondness for cats and, um, alcohol. And Dirk, well, he looks like a character straight out of one of those animes.
[ And he pronounces that word more like 'an-nee-mees' ]
Pointed, stupid sunglasses and a chicken nest for hair.
[voice]
...Strider? [Because that's the description she would have used for him, too, likely.]
[voice] 1.2
[voice] 2.2
I'd like to see him again. I feel like there are a few things we need to discuss face-to-face.
[ nothing too important. just post break up shit that didn't fully get ironed out after they all kind of died. the usual. ]
But knowing my luck, he's still all good and gone. Nobody seems to know who Roxy or Jane are.
[voice]
[...she can't think of a nicer way to put it. Jerk left her alone with the whole dumb ship, she's mad. Not that Jake needs to know this.]
Yeah--he was my old Captain, actually! I took over after he disappeared. [awkward laughing] Afraid I haven't heard of Roxy or Jane...but if Dirk comes back again, then I'm sure he'll want to get his old ship back, so I'll be the first to know.
[voice]
Dirk as a Captain? Oh, golly-bab, I'm sure that was all sorts of amusing!
He's a clever fellow— possibly too clever, but I'm not sure if I'd want him to be my captain!
[voice]
Ugh, don't even get me started. Guy would gather us for meetings and he'd just end up monologuing the whole time, then go hide somewhere and poke at his robots for a couple weeks until the next one. I keep wondering if he's just hanging out in one of the boxes somewhere in the hold. Is that normal for him?
[voice]
I'm sure he kept a tight and structured ship.
That'd also be him.
Oh, and the robot thing. Jimmy crickets, don't get me started. I experienced that first hand on a daily basis— two different ones.
[voice]
[Not...even going to bother elaborating on that, because leaving it vague seems so much more entertaining.]
Were they the rapping ones? The little robot was cute! I miss him.
[voice]
Everything produced by Dirk kind of raps. You see, he likes to make duplicates of himself.
It's pretty arrogant, if I were to be brutally honest. The scoundrel cannot seem to leave me alone one way or another.
Once I get away from one of his carbon copies, another seems to find me. It's exhausting.
[voice]
[...Codi, listen to your words. Apply them to yourself. No? Okay then.]
Well, on the bright side, you won't have to deal with those anymore! I haven't seen any of Dirk's robots around for more than a month, now. They were cute and kind of useful, but if they were just going to attack everyone on the ship, I guess it's better that they went back with Dirk.
