[voice/written] action for Hazmats
[the flip of a page brings sound first, a grunt and a slight ting of bells]
...there, 'course. Now where's the damn writing thing...?
[it cuts off and the rest comes in jagged handwriting, as the journal translates his Chinese script]
word of advice. don't get captured. sure, you'd say it's better than dying, but I'd beg to differ. it ain't fun. it's not an easy way out. puts your crew at risk, more than if you die. and I don't know about half of you, but I ain't lettin' some Navy ass gloat about stretching my neck on the gallows. Hell no. Never give 'em the satisfaction.
I ain't gonna ask for a recap of the last week, I can figure it out for myself. But I saw mention of a couple names of Oda's guys who I might wanna talk to. didn't know they'd be here...

written;
let's see, been about a month now, I think. I haven't exactly asked around to see if anybody else I was with at the time ended up here with me, but when I didn't find Lu Meng anywhere on the island I guess, probably not.
written;
[Which is good explanation as to why she bothered to write.]
written;
[entirely clueless]
least it's not Zhang Liao, I guess.
audio;
Woman.
[Given that she's a prominent figure in Cao Cao's army, she's not sure how that mistake could be made. Unless, of course, it's no mistake.]
Davy Jones would have been wiser to target Wu alone for his kidnappings, but here we are.
audio;
[just when he thinks he can't be surprised anymore...]
Uh. Wow. Wasn't expecting that.
audio;
[Her tone isn't precisely put out, but it is somewhat bemused.]
That's odd.
[She sighs. It's not exactly flattering, even if she is familiar with the concept of alternate worlds thanks to her captain's situation.]
But I suppose not without precedent...
audio;
...no offense.
audio;
...If that's the case, I think we can safely assume that our homelands are separate realms.
audio;
[mind. blown.]
audio;
[And because she's not very fond of sounding so irrational, resigned, she adds:]
It's best to accept that things that shouldn't be able to occur can and will. As soon as possible, ideally.
audio;
I mean I've already heard about sorcery and mind-control stuff...
audio;
[She lists it all matter of factly.]
Not a single month has passed without some kind of incident.
audio;
At least...eh, it's not so bad to know there's one other person from the Han around.
