Safe? She's dead, Selphie. And if she's not dead, then she's back home. And if she's back home, then we're never gonna know until we get the hell out of here ourselves.
I know fine well she's dead. But dead is far safer than some of the things Kairi's been through. Won't she be safe if she's at home too? She could wind up anywhere when she gets back here, and when she does I hope it's a safe place.
...Dead is dead. If she doesn't come back, if it's permanent this time, then how is that better than anything? If she was sent back home, then that's fine. It's perfect, in fact. Better there than here. My point is we don't know...and we won't. Not until we go home, too.
I didn't say it was better than anything. But she's been through worse.
That's what I mean. Dead is safer than being in a cell and tortures by the navy. So she's either dead, or she's home. So right now, we just have to wait. That's all.
*After squeezing Riku for suitably long enough, Selphie finally sits back and sighs*
I'm okay. I just... want her to come back, is all. She will, but, it's hard. And it's difficult when everyone round here is so sucky about offering hugs.

We're going to pass that mark soon.
[written]
Guess we just have to wait.

[written]
So yeah, dead is safer than so many things, Riku.
[written]
It's the not knowing that's getting to me.

[He hasn't forgotten. He might not have been there going through it with them, but he remembers the aftermath clearly enough.]
But I think we're just gonna disagree on this one.

I wish I could think about it that way.
[written]
I'm here.

You're looking after him, right?

I guess I wouldn't say no to one.

*That's the last thing she writes before heading over to the moon. Takes a few minutes, but eventually she appears in his door way*
Hey.
[action]
Which he redirects toward Selphie when she appears.]
Hey. [Holds his journal up.] I'm shutting up, okay. And...thank you. Ahead of time.
[action]
*She smiles back at him and moves further into the room, arms extended for a big, tight, cuddly hug*
[action]
[The smile grows a bit and he pushes himself up, lifting his arms a little to meet her.]
How are you doing after all this?
[action]
I'm okay. I just... want her to come back, is all. She will, but, it's hard. And it's difficult when everyone round here is so sucky about offering hugs.
*She grins a little and winks*
[action]
She will... [He grins.] Have you thought about giving hug lessons?
[action]
*Selphie laughs at that but claps her hands together, evidently very pleased with the idea*
Wow, no, I've never thought of that! But that's an awesome idea!
[action]
[Puts on a faux smug face.]
Though, clearly, I don't need lessons.
