Dear...bugger it, not in the mood—

Potter seems to have pissed off back to our world, which is just typical. Always has to have things just handed to him because he's the bloody Boy Who Lived. I bet Dumbledore gave him the House Cup the second he walked into the Great Hall, too, just because he finally bothered to show up for classes halfway through the year. Probably gift-wrapped it, at that.

1000 points to the arseholes of Gryffindor because Potter's not stuck in some stupid bleeding pirate world anymore.

P.S. Help, my ship has been taken over by ninjas and one of them is wearing the most ghastly and horrid shade of orange and another has pink hair that I think actually might not be dyed or charmed. Why do I have to still be stuck with these nutters when Potter isn't????

I didn't know what to think of the salty scent of sea air at first. But I've come to be rather fond of it. I wonder if I'll miss it when I return home to my Prince...

Gensokyo is a sealed realm that those supernatural beings like myself can reside within in peace... the outside world holds no place for us, and I'd risk fading away into nothing were I to step outside its walls.

Well, that hardly seems fair. The ghosts in my world are generally able to go where they please, though usually they stick to haunting one place. I think the Ministry can force them to specific locations, too.

Your world, in general, seems better equipped to foster the otherworldly in the face of growing cynicism. Mine is not.

Well, my part of the world anyway. The Wizarding World might be, but the Muggles in general are still largely skeptical of ghosts hanging about, and more than that, they're scared of them.

[He's heard of these "ghost stories" and the like that Muggles tell.]

It's fear in stories told for fun. Ghost stories. Very few actually believe in ghosts.

I know. It's pathetically miniscule, but it's all I've got.

So I think I'm content to remain in Gensokyo... I doubt my Prince truly wishes to leave, anyways. Ruling Japan again is a fine ambition, but would the world really accept a resurrected Prince from an antiquated age as a ruler of a world power?

The world? No. Probably not. But I think it wouldn't be the first time everyone else has eyed Japan a little strangely. If the country itself accepts a ruler like that, though, then perhaps other countries would eventually learn to deal with it.
