Week 26
Seas are boilin’ so expect incomin’ as usual as well as shorter’n usual posts from me. I don’t want to attract the Navy’s attention any more than ye. They’ve got no patience fer dissenters ‘o any stripe.
I will tell ye that there are two admirals geared up in th’ East and West, as well as three Captains in th’ East, two South and West and one in the North. Don’t engage any o’ ‘em if ye can help it—but if ye are stuck, there be rumors that the Captains carry maps on ‘em that’ll lead ta shard pieces. If the Navy gets hold ‘o ‘em ye’ll ne’er see them, lest ye launch a full on assault which I wouldn’t recommend. He what brought you here and brings ye back might get tired ‘o doin’ it after so long.
That’ll about serve as yer news as there’s nothin’ else of import ta ye anyway.
Weather
North: Cold but not blisterin’ ly so. Might even get to go in a light jacket near the middle ‘o the week. Watch out fer th’ odd roc since they stir up in th’ spring.
East: Calm an’ cold wi’ a slight chance ‘o kraken. Expect showers throughout the week but next Saturday brace yerselves fer a gale.
West: Brisk and windy, though nothin’ ye can’t handle. Hear there might be a whirlpool a few miles out from Gun Frontier so watch yerself afore ye get sucked onta a reef.
South Hot an’ humid. Almost like summer. Barely any wind ta speak of. No idea what’s goin’ on there but it be what it be.
Now if ye got a question ‘o reasonable levels of idiocy, one question, mind ye, lay it on me. Otherwise I’d best spend the time gettin’ prepared.

Seriously though, yer voice is like a caterwaul an' that's comin' from a dude who grew up in a place where people talk with sonar on a regular basis.

Suffice ta say a great hero emerged from somewhere around Empieza, then know as th' center 'o the world an' brought everyone together, formulatin' the Navy. Now it's the strongest power on these seas crewed by people all o'er the world, includin' some I never even knew existed til a few years back. A'course some strong powers like in Yuezhong have a kinda psuedo-Navy but it's all sanctioned by the big guys.
Dunno whether that was helpful fer ye or not but it's about all I can tell ye right now.
[not here but listening as usual and PINGED LIKE WHOA]

[Not to him, anyway. His voice trailed off as he stretched his leg, then sighed.]
None of them wanted to come back with me. But oh! The Captain let me buy a sailboat for us and let me name it, too! It's the Hey! Listen!. If you or Mister Meep ever want to visit me, you can come visit me there. It's really small, but I get to captain it most of the time.

[This is Codi's fault for the most part. She's pushing friendship on him and isn't sure how to handle it.]

Thanks for the warnin' though sweetheart. We'll be slippery as we can if they start tryin' t' slap us in cuffs.

Now that you've told us they have maps to something important.

Sure, half the people here aren't even good sailors, let alone pirates, but that doesn't mean there aren't a few of us here who know how to handle our shit.
