[Honestly, he knows it's a bit of a long shot, especially given that:
1) The one he's about to inquire about can't really survive in the water given the robotic/mech state he's in.
and
2) Tadakatsu would sink a ship the second he got on board. He even told Motochika the same thing some years ago.
However, given that it's that time of new arrivals and all, Ieyasu's going to try. Plus, as much as he's enjoying the sailing around, he does kind of miss having that glorified jet pack around.]
To those currently docked at Isla Empieza, both current crews and new arrivals:
Should you come across a large, metal clad warrior, I ask that you fill me in on his current location as soon as possible. [There's a pause as he takes to thinking a bit.] I would advise against attempting to speak to him, though should one wish to do so, I ask that you mention the name "Ieyasu Tokugawa" before engaging in any further conversation. My name alone should be enough for Tadakatsu to give you his full attention.
[Of course, attempting to understand Tadakatsu is a whole other story. And that happens to be one that Ieyasu's not going to get into right now.]
Any who are able to supply me with this information, or any information at all that may lead to finding Tadakatsu, will have my complete gratitude in doing so.

[Voice]
That would be me, yes.
[And Kai, does this sound like the voice of a fat, old tanuki? Does it?
Though he does detect a faint bit of recognition. TIME TO POKE FURTHER. Sorry, Kai. Your life is about to get worse...maybe.]
Though I must ask who you might be, especially if my name seems to cause such a reaction.
[Voice]
[It hasn't occurred to her that his voice sounds completely different.]
[Voice]
I hate to disappoint you, Lady Kai, [LOOK AT THAT. Look at that respect he's giving you, Kai.] but it would seem as though your name is unfamiliar to me. And I don't remember anyone who fought with Mitsunari who had your name.
[Also, what is this talk of a fight at Osaka Castle? He's only at Sekigahara right now, Kai.]
[Voice]
[They were still sort of working out what he'd be taking over, exactly. Peace is hard.]
[It takes a few seconds before it hits her just how rude she's being. Being around pirates so long is starting to rub off on her.]
[Voice]
Jeez, Kai. TAG YOUR SPOILERS!!!!He knew of the outcome that would come, either he would fall or Mitsunari would, but for it to be Mitsunari...And with that thought, just like that, his cheerful tone fell.]
Are you certain? Mitsunari was defeated at Sekigahara?
[It's just as painful to say as it was to think about.]
By whose hand was it? My own or another in my army?
[Voice]
He was, um, captured and executed after the battle. I don't know who actually did it. I didn't fight at Sekigahara and it was after he escaped, anyway, I think.
[Voice]
[He's quiet again, running what she said through his mind but not quite processing it. Mitsunari lost at Sekigahara, escaped, was captured, and then executed?]
I must apologize, Lady Kai. There are things I've yet to come to know back in my world, such as any battle that may have happened at Osaka Castle or anyone by the name of "Hidetada". The last thing I remember was Sekigahara, with Mitsunari very much alive at the time.
[Voice]
Are you feeling well, my lord? I know this place is kind of overwhelming, but maybe you should find a doctor or something.
[How do you even tell someone this?!]
If you remember Sekigahara, then you should remember your own son. I mean, Hidetada would have been there if the Sanada hadn't held him back.
[Voice]
[Even if the Sekigahara spoilers are a thing that's screwing with his mental self.
But did she just imply he had a son? Well, that's enough to get a short laugh out of him.]
Do I really sound like someone who has a son?
[Basara ages might be weird and strange but still. Stop your hate for a second and listen to the voice, Kai. Listen to the young, not old and fat tanuki voice.]
[Voice]
Dude, Liam O'Brien has a kid.][This poor, sick man. She almost feels bad about beating him to a pulp.]
Um...well...listen, maybe you really should rest or something. You don't want to, you know...stress yourself any further.
[THIS IS AWFUL.]
[Voice]
Well that's Liam O'Brien. He's older than his character. You know, all of this is making him curious.]
I was told by Lord Mitsuhide that the Ieyasu of his world was a kind and just man. Tell me, what is the man who bears my name and crest like in yours? Outside of war, I mean.
[TOTALLY OVERLOOKING THAT BIT ABOUT SLEEP AND STRESS NOW. And on into "how can we confuse this poor lady?" Sorry, Kai.]
[Voice]
[What?
Huh?
Eh?]
[Sadly, Ieyasu is not dealing with one of the great minds of her era. Okay, she could accept that there's another Magoichi, but that's mostly because there are more of those anyway. This is beyond the limits of her brain.]
[Voice]
He hopes she knows about the alternate worlds with same people deal, because this will be hard to explain if she doesn't. Mostly because it's still confusing to him.]
I'm not the Ieyasu Tokugawa you might know back in your world, Lady Kai.
[WILL THAT UNBREAK HER?]
[Voice]
[But Ieyasus are still fat old tanukis who find sneaky, underhanded ways to rule the country, even after they're supposed to have retired, right? That's how Ieyasus work. Like, maybe not all Magoichis are lechers, but they're all mercenaries, right? ARE THERE OTHER KAIS? PLEASE TELL HER THEY'RE ALL PRETTY.]
If you say so...
[THEY'RE ALL PRETTY, RIGHT?!]
[Voice]
...and probably. Other Kais are probably really pretty.
But hmm, how can he expand on that statement?]
From what it sounds like, the one you know has achieved much in his life. As for myself, you could say I'm only beginning.
[And a pause.]
Also, I'd like to think I'm still a bit young to have a son. And even if I did, I think he'd be a bit too young to start taking my place.
[IS THIS HELPING ANY?]
[Voice]
This isn't some sort of prank is it?
[This better not be some, some...some pirate.]
[Voice]
I promise you that I'm telling you the absolute truth.
If you would like to, I would be willing to answer any questions you may have that can prove my honesty.
[But they're all pirates here!! But...if he's best bros with a pirate, does that make him a pirate by association?]
[Voice]
I-I don't even know what I would...I mean, it's not like I know all that much about that fa-- about you. Him.
[Voice]
...'fa'?
[While that's got him curious, he's not going to pry into that.]
Then it looks like you're just going to have to take my word on this, Lady Kai.
[But he is curious about her lineage, now that the initial confusion (hopefully) is over with. Or maybe, you know, distraction time!]
You mentioned your father was Ujinaga Narita, did you not? Is he the same Ujinaga Narita who served the Hojo of Odawara Castle?
[Voice]
Sure is! So did I until my lord Ujiyasu passed away. I've been serving the Toyotomi since then. I guess I'm staying with them for now, well, until I manage to get married.
[If that ever happens.]
[Voice]
I see.
[Well, most of that he does. Not so much on that ending because not going to get into that part of it.]
I never really knew Lord Ujiyasu myself, though I consider his son, Ujimasa, a good friend, even if we did have our problems when I served with the Toyotomi.
[Because old man Ujimasa won't stop complaining about the Toyotomi and destroying the castle and blahblahblah. Though mentioning him does get him wondering...]
Is he around back in your world? Lord Ujimasa, I mean.
[Voice]
[Ieyasu had sounded so happy when he asked, too. She almost feels bad having to say it.]
