More familiar names belonging to unfamiliar people, from worlds both extremely close and very far in nature from the one I know. I do not think it is something one could ever get completely used to.

Sometimes I wonder if-

[And at that point Mitsuhide trails off, leaving little dots of ink after his last words, because without really thinking about it he has pulled a certain sweet from the bowl that has appeared in the Koumyou's island camp. Distraction makes the magical urge to do so very hard to resist; it makes the urge to obey the heart-shaped sweet's message even harder to ignore.]

[So a few moments later, Mitsuhide adds, in a slightly less neat kind of script:]

Lord Motochika, I love you.

[...yeah, he's just going to leave it there. Whatever he was going to say beforehand has been unsurprisingly washed from his mind by sheer embarrassment.]

[Honestly, he knows it's a bit of a long shot, especially given that:

1) The one he's about to inquire about can't really survive in the water given the robotic/mech state he's in.

and

2) Tadakatsu would sink a ship the second he got on board. He even told Motochika the same thing some years ago.

However, given that it's that time of new arrivals and all, Ieyasu's going to try. Plus, as much as he's enjoying the sailing around, he does kind of miss having that glorified jet pack around.
]

To those currently docked at Isla Empieza, both current crews and new arrivals:

Should you come across a large, metal clad warrior, I ask that you fill me in on his current location as soon as possible. [There's a pause as he takes to thinking a bit.] I would advise against attempting to speak to him, though should one wish to do so, I ask that you mention the name "Ieyasu Tokugawa" before engaging in any further conversation. My name alone should be enough for Tadakatsu to give you his full attention.

[Of course, attempting to understand Tadakatsu is a whole other story. And that happens to be one that Ieyasu's not going to get into right now.]

Any who are able to supply me with this information, or any information at all that may lead to finding Tadakatsu, will have my complete gratitude in doing so.

'Get ye on a crew,' huh?

[There's a slight chuckle at that. The way that first page was written, and the mention of sailing the seas, he's already got some slight idea.]

So, they expect us to become pirates? I'd be lying if I said that I didn't wonder what it was like to be one. Though, come to think of it, never had a need to sail thanks to Tadakatsu...

[He trails off, turning a page or two before returning back to the initial page. He had heard some strange voices coming out of the book and had hoped to find some more information on how that was happening, but nothing more.

But since he did hear something, maybe...
]

If I am right about this, perhaps there are others listening in on this. And if so, could one possibly explain this journal? I've witnessed some strange things before-[Thank you, Motochika for making some things that aren't from your time period. Same goes for that sun obsessed guy Motonari as well.]-but nothing like this before.

[--oh. Another thing he should inquire about.]

Also, if anyone has seen a giant, metal clad warrior, could you possibly point me in his direction? Tadakatsu has a bit of a problem with worrying about me if we get separated and, with his size, I would like to avoid the possibility of him accidentally damaging something while searching. Or, if you wish, you could let him know that Ieyasu Tokugawa is in fact here and to head to the fountain. Either way, I appreciate any kind of help to find him.

[ooc: Anyone who wishes for action/happens to be around the fountain will find one yellow clad guy flipping through the journal, mostly muttering to himself about how blank the pages are and how strange it is to see a journal not filled past the first page.]
