First GIANT - A Joint Post (Action + Voice)
[Waking up when he have no recollection of falling asleep was the first thing that told Tager something was wrong. The second was when his eyes opened...there was a book on his face. Strange. Even stranger was that it didn't appear to be any sort of novel. No...more like...a journal?
Raising one large hand to his face, he picks up the book and lifts it off his face. Getting up will take him a few seconds, but eventually he's up and glancing around his surroundings. A brief look confirms his suspicions. The place is empty, save for an old fountain and what appears to be a cobblestone path leading away from his current position. He glances down at the journal in his hand for a few seconds before opening it up to read the contents. It was a bit old fashioned, but maybe it could give him some sort of explanation as to what was going on...? Worth a shot.]
Isla Empieza? Strange, there doesn't seem to be any mention of "Isla Empieza" located within my database. I better get a hold of Kokonoe and find out just what the hell is going on...
[Not knowing that his words are being broadcast over the journal, as the book is still open, Tager pulls out his cell phone...only to try and fail to contact his superior.]
...no signal. Damn. Guess I better-
Hiya, big guy! Who are you talking to, meow?
[Another new arrival suddenly leaps up, and perches on Tager's shoulder. It's a familiar voice, to him at least. She seems to be a lot less concerned about her displacement... ]
What?!
[Tager's neck automatically snaps toward Tao's direction. His brows raise in surprise...not that anyone aside from Tao can see it.]
How did you manage to sneak up on me? My sensors didn't detect anyone nearby. Don't tell me they're on the fritz...
Censors? Fritts? Is that tasty? Do you have food on you that you're not telling Tao about, meow?
[ Tao sounds a little more mischievous this time. If you're holding out on her, Tager... ]
No, saying something is on the fritz means that something isn't working. That it's broken-
[He pauses for a second. Eventually he sighs. Normally he'd continue on with his mission and stop her if she interfered, but...it would seem for the moment that he didn't HAVE a mission...aside from finding out more information. And it seemed this girl was just as lost he was.
...though to be fair she always seemed a bit lost.]
...nevermind. Come on, we need to find out why we were brought here.
[...]
...and perhaps we can find some food along the way.
[Nailed it.]
((OOC: Red text is Tager and black text is Tao! They'll be traveling together actionwise, so chances are you won't find one without the other. Journalwise is a bit different, however! Just let us know if you want Tao, Tager, or both and we'll respond as requested. If both, as a head's up it'll be a 3-way conversation.))

[not quite voice]
Zzz... meow...
[voice]
Hey, Tao? I'll come pick you up in a few days, so stay in the town and don't run off anywhere, 'kay?
[She's been silent for far longer than he deemed her to be capable of, and that's... kind of worrying.]
[voice]
I'm afraid she's fallen asleep.
[Like, snoring and everything. You can hear here over the journal. It's actually kinda impressive how loud it is.]
...I'll be sure to relay the message and keep a close eye on her.
[voice]
Should've figured.
[This isn't the first time something like that happens, after all. What does surprise him, however, is how cooperative Tager seems to be. He was considering asking him to take care of the Kaka until he arrives, but there he goes, offering help himself. Huh.]
Right... thanks, I guess.
[Perhaps he doesn't sound very grateful, but... given it's Ragna, even the fact he said that should be treated as an act of goodwill.]
[voice]
[She's gotten somewhat attached already. Although truth be told even if she hadn't he would have still probably kept an eye on her anyway. Say what you will about the Red Devil, but he's got a sense of duty if nothing else.]
