[When Alice's voice comes, it is very... quiet. Distant. She doesn't actually sound like she's speaking to anyone in particular, at least at first.]

I've... I have held myself back for a long time, on what I am capable of... Too afraid of what may happen if I go too far, if I hurt someone...

But now I simply feel as if this is holding me back from defending those I hold dear...
