Now despite the helpfully cryptic explanation on the fountain, and on the front page of this book, I'm still rather at a loss of where to start, and these charming townsfolk are permanently coy with information. So, I suppose I'll start at the beginning of me, and perhaps someone out there can take over.
My name is Syeira [She pronounces it Sigh-Ir-uh], Ward of Gorion, formerly of Candlekeep in the land of Faerun. I'm a Bard by trade, adventurer by circumstance. Most recently I was in the merchant nation of Amn. And now I'm on an island I've never heard of before. I'm rather curious as to whether or not I'm still even on Toril. There's always the possibility of being transported to Abeir, but there's a distinct lack of Primordials, so I'm wagering not.
And now this is becoming a geography lesson. I apologize. You can take the girl out of the library, but you can't take the library out of the girl.
Any case, there it is. Now I should like to move forward, if at all possible. Is anyone able to help me do that?
