week 17
Well it be about time that I come back, and in full. As a sort 'o late present ta all ye lot, all bans are hereby lifted except fer the annoyin' ones banned fer their life here since I hain't be puttin' up wi' it. It be a good time ta do it, too, since the twenty-fifth 'o next month marks the death of the infamous Davy Jones and nought but bad luck occurs on that cursed day...and that be if ye don't catch the attention 'o the more malignant spirits. There be rumors stirrin' in th' deep that makes even my hairs stand on end.
'Afore that however, yer weather...
North: Frosty conditions all throughout the week and into th' next. Watch out fer ice and also maned seals which be good eatin' if ye can catch'un. Not recommended fer amateurs.
East: A mild warm front means calm winds and smooth sailin' ta ye. Expect rains if ye venture south but nothin' but a short drizzle or two. Wouldn't recommend stowin' the parkas just yet.
South: Squalls everywhere ye look. Maybe a brief break midweek but otherwise keep yer eyes peeled for spouts. Those'll send ye to th' next world and no mistake.
West: Chilly wi' flurries expected. Maybe ye'll get an inch or two on deck but it won't stick 'round fer very long once the sun peaks.
News
Hain't much ta say except the Navy battenin' down fer the 25th. Rumor has it they be experimentin' on some new form 'o keepin' ye lot down. Rumor also has it they be gettin' ideas 'o another form an' dabblin places they best not be dabblin' in. But no one looks in the navy that close. Atop that, glass lookers an' card readers 'round the seas be sayin' this be the year she awakens. 'Course they been sayin' that every year...
An' speakin' 'o years, this upcomin' one be fast upon us. Year o' the Peridot so if yer one fer traditions or like ta join in festivites, light green'll be the color 'o choice fer ye. I'd celebrate now whilst ye still can.
Otherwise that's all th' dog has fer ye. One question as per usual. Go ahead and try not ta shoot yerselves in th' head.

Here's an inquiry for you: has a wish ever been made with this jewel we're all seeking?

[She gives a sigh at the response. Figures.]
With the vast amounts of idiots in this world, I doubt anyone else would bother to ask this, let alone allow useful questions to filter through. I'll endeavor, nonetheless, to get an answer.

I suppose theoretically if I were to be in the mood 'o answerin' more questions than one at a time I might, just might, say ta ye: ye can if ye can find me.
But since I hain't answerin' but one question a week, who knows what the truth 'o it is.
NOBODY NOTICED I WROTE VIDEO tumut
Woo! Well, this world's fulla mysteries. If you speculate that answer might be on the point, then--
I think I'd like to see for myself. It's a big ocean, but I plan on takin' it over, y'hear?

However, the warnings are much appreciated. Hopefully they shall be helpful towards keeping our crew safer to some degree, or at least we'll know to be more cautious.
