☠ Second Log | [Written] ☠
[During the evening of the 20th, a very short journal entry appears, written in large but neat handwriting.]
Please tell me about the worlds you come from.
Please tell me about the worlds you come from.
written;
Obviously there is a lot more history than that, but I'm not about to give you a history lesson. There are entire classes for that for a reason.
What about yours?
written, sorry for the late response
[Sorry, he's having a hard time wrapping his head around dustpeople. To his credit, he does write 'Dust' with a capital letter.]
Mine? I uh, don't know about how it was created, but everything floats and we use airships to get around. They're a lot like the ships here, except they go through the sky instead of the water...though the Yafutoman empire has ships that can go through the water.
written, No problem!
[ Which she knows first hand. Because Ruby sneezed and exploded them both. ]
Yes! We have air ships from mine as well! Water ships are used, but mostly for cargo. Air ships are much more common for passengers. You use air ships for everything in your world?
written
That'd be kinda cool, but I don't think anyone's figured out how to use Moonstones to make people fly yet.

Not that we actually buy them, we just raid their ships and take what we need.

What's your name?

And is also kind of an idiot.]
Vyse. Yours?

[ At least it will be.. easy to remember... Weiss, Vyse.. similar sounds. ]

['Radioactive' isn't a common word in Vyse's vocabulary. 'Explosive' and 'corrosive', sort of, but not 'radioactive'. But it sounds bad nonetheless, so he can guess from context.
The concept of 'aliens' or 'other planets' is entirely foreign.]
And there's no way to get rid of the radiation?
Re: written, sorry for the late response
[Kodai has found that fact to have made their strategy meetings very confusing lately.]
We were contacted by a planet called Iscandar that offered help. They even gave us the technology to do so. I was assigned to the ship that was being sent there. We had made the final warp when I ended up here.
Re: written, sorry for the late response
[Sorry Kodai, he's focused on that bit of info.]
So Gamilas are the enemy and the ones from Iscandar are your allies. I hope they're doing alright without you there, it sounds like you're important to the mission.
Re: written, sorry for the late response
I was the ship's Tactical Officer. Disappearing from the ship in the middle of a battle is going to cause chaos. We're already missing [ he started to write something but it was quickly turned to a scribble] someone.
Sorry for THIS late response
[Kodai can't see, but on his side of the journal, Vyse is attempting to imagine being that close to a star. It's not working.]
Re: Sorry for THIS late response
So what's it like we're you're from?
written
[For Olivia, that's Regna Ferox. But, in general, there's Ylisse, Plegia, and Valm involved. So she wants to make sure before she goes telling about everything that won't make her sound crazy.]
written
[There isn't a lot that can make her sound crazy to him, don't worry.]
written
Where I'm from is a snowy country called Regna Ferox, where the people pride themselves on their strength and skill in battle. The ruling leaders are called Khan, though only one Khan can rule at a time and are chosen when one of their champions win the fighting tournament. Currently Flavia, the East-Khan, rules Ferox.
It's really quite the lovely place. That is, if you're of the fighting type.
[Or if you happened to be the boasting of Basilio.]
And what about your world? What is it like?
written
[He can get behind the fighting part, yup.]
My world? Well, we don't have anywhere like Regna Ferox, but there's a land of ice called Glacia in the far southern part of the world. No one knows about the people who lived there...they all disappeared.
I'm from an island called Windmill Isle.
written
[Even if she was pretty much the only Feroxi to not love fighting.
At the reading of the people having all disappeared, she starts writing out a question about how before scribbling it out as much as possible. It was probably best she not worry much about it, especially if there seemed to be a lack of knowledge on the natives.]
If you don't mind, could you tell me more about it? I mean, about Windmill Isle.
written
Except it stopped being much of a secret when it got trashed by the local navy. And is a complete other world. Eh.]
Well...Windmill Isle is actually just the name put on maps to disguise it. It's a pirate base...not exactly the thing you want to advertise too much. Even if we're not Black pirates.
written
Oh, so you were a pirate prior to arriving here then?
written
I have my own crew back home...Aika's probably designated herself captain in my place, and I feel kinda sorry for them.
written;
I don't know much outside of where I lived, but there are plenty of nice people, like my young master. Occasionally people will die in one way or another, but not always. Which is good, yet bad at the same time because sometimes good people die.
written
...Well, everyone dies eventually, even good people. Unfortunately.

Re: written
[He pauses in his writing for a few seconds before starting again.]
Don't think about it too much, or else you'll just get yourself down. And try not to keel over before you're ready to, either.

...Mind if I ask your name? It's still a little weird writing to anonymous people with this thing.
