Am I the only one who wouldn't want anyone from home to be here?

Besides the cold, it isn't exactly a vacation here. With this place being so unpredictable, I'd rather have those I know back home in familiar territory.

Why ask? Given what you wrote you must have thought the same thing. Though in your case I gather it was written more from a point of seeing to their safety rather than any inconvenience they may cause you? Due to the unpredictable nature of this place I can understand that.

I actually think the opposite. It would make things easier to deal with if we had extra skills aboard. So yes, their safety is my main concern.

You are not making much sense. Either you wish those you know from home to be brought here or you do not. Are you confused, not sure which is the better option?

While I can see the benefit of my friends being here, I'd rather they not be here in the long run. There are things that need to be done back home.

Are there? Business dealings you are concerned with or something more personal?

It's a mix of both.

You might not have much to worry about. It is fairly random on whom is actually pulled here and whom is not.

Wouldn't that be cause for worry, anyway?

I meant to say it would be unlikely that your friends would be chosen.

If it's random, then then likelihood is still there.
