[It's actually sketched into the journal before he even realizes he's doing it.
When Kyouya notices what he's done, he shakes his head a little.]
It seems I've finally gotten homesick.
[Not that he hasn't been since the first. Having Tamaki and Kaoru here helped, certainly, but he'd spent enough time alone, before they'd come, that he'd gotten homesick. For Ouran, for the city, for his friends.
Not necessarily his family. He could do without them -- except Fuyumi.]
As of today, those of us who've been here from the beginning have been here for 100 days.
(ooc note: original artwork from here.)

[ACTION]
Of course he's very worried about his bestfriend being homesick, but something had to be said about that art work. So in a quick instant the door leading to Kyouya's cabin was pushed open with a bright smile from their ships captain.]
Kyouya!!!
[ACTION]
Yes, Tamaki?
[For his tone, he might have been sitting at his desk in the Music Room.
But he looked totally ill-suited for that. A hundred days without professionally trimming his hair, without fancy products, without his designer clothes, baking in the sun, exposed to the elements. And now wearing more than a few layers to try and banish the ever-creeping cold.
A cold, he'd quickly realized, that was as unnatural as the fog had been two months ago.]
[ACTION]
[He closed the door to prevent any more cold air from coming in. Evidently, the prince of sunshine was not happy with this incredibly cold weather.]
[ACTION]
[He's going to stare a moment, Tamaki. Potentially contemplating throwing something at you for even needing to ask that. Because he's been a tour guide way too many times.
If Tamaki had failed to notice what was outside the shrines he'd taken him to, he might have to hit him.]
[ACTION]
[Tamaki is now shivering like crazy.] It's very cold.. isn't it?
[ACTION]
At the question, he sighs.]
Extremely.
Even candles don't feel warm.
More magic, I assume. To what end, though? What good does freezing us, do?
[ACTION]
[While Kyouya added those lines, he'll notice that Tamaki was inching closer towards his first mate. A few moments later, he's already leaning to Kyouya, hoping to share some of his warmth.]
[ACTION]
Because they were safer at Ouran. There, the worst cold was a temporary malfunction of the heater.]
I know it is. I don't know what to suggest. Bundling up doesn't work.
[ACTION]
....[Kyouya wasn't cold at all was he? Tamaki did not know why but Kyouya was very warm. Was it the candles in his cabin?] Ne, Kyouya..you're warm.
[ACTION]
[A soft, curious sound as Tamaki's arms draped over him. Not a gesture he minded, certainly. Not wholly common, but also not foreign. Tamaki was the type. Affectionate in his friendship and very demonstrative. Different than anything Kyouya had ever known. And it... was nice.
Nicer, still, as he realized what Tamaki was saying. It was warmer. Experimentally, Kyouya raised his empty hand -- which had been quite cold holding his pen -- and set it over one of Tamaki's.
It was warm. The thought made his fingers curl around the hand a bit as he glanced up at Tamaki.]
Very interesting.
[ACTION]
[Tamaki did not really understand how Kyouya was able to keep warm all this time. But he was not prepared to let Kyouya go right now. He was incredibly warm, and when Kyouya touched Tamaki's hand, a wave of unadulterated warmth washed over the host club king.
In fact, he further pulled Kyouya towards him.]
How did you manage to stay so warm?
[ACTION]
I was freezing a moment ago.
[His voice is ever quiet as his eyes open, and he leans a bit back in his chair. He'd deny doing it if asked, but the heat is too tempting. Which is, of course, the entire reason. At least that's what he'll claim.]
[ACTION]
But you're so warm now. And holding you like this makes me feel so warm.
[ACTION]
It's nothing but friendly, he knows. He knows how the fairy tale ends. What happens when -- what had Kaoru called it? the spell on the carriage? is broken -- things finally change. He has his role to play, and it's as a friend and confidant, an adviser and protector.
Which is why he can let himself enjoy it, even if it doesn't show more than a faint pull of his lips toward something like a smile. And why he flattens his palm against the back of Tamaki's hand.]
We did think it must be magic, this cold. Sunlight ended the last one; this must respond to touch.
[ACTION]
So do you mean for as long as I cling to you like this, I won't be cold anymore?
[ACTION]
[Which is reason enough for him to stay where he is. Normally, he'd have shrugged Tamaki off by now, telling him he was interrupting his work. Kept some of those walls between them, subtle though they were. But with the cold and this seeming to work...
It was a good excuse.
He reaches back, nearly putting his hand on Tamaki's cheek. Instead, his hand settles sort of against Tamaki's neck. A little less intimate. Though not something he'll let himself do again. At least Tamaki will overlook it.]
[ACTION]
For a few moments, he was silent and he was peaceful. Until a thought suddenly disturbed his peace.]
Does this mean I have to eat, drink and sleep with you to keep myself warm?
[ACTION]
[Though Kyouya can stand a few hours of the cold. After all, they probably can't be together all the time.
But he does give an ever so slight smile as he glanced over at Tamaki and shrugged lightly. Not enough to disturb Tamaki's head on it.]
Wouldn't be the first time we had a sleepover.
[ACTION]
[He said a bit excited. But not quite letting his excitement pull parts of his body away from Kyouya.
And again, Kyouya sends Tamaki happy thoughts as his Inner Mind Theathre pictures a sleep over with all his crewmates. Sharing stories, playing truth or dare and just laughing the night away.]
We'll all sleep in one room and have so much fun~!!!
[ACTION]
[Four of them to keep each other warm. Not difficult, really, with the Host Club usual proceedings. Keep Karen close to them and be at their most charming.]
If you tell them, I can fix us something to eat. I think I can manage a stew for us, at least.
[ACTION]
[It shouldn't be difficult at all. Three hosts and a Princess. Sounds like a fairy tale in the Captain's mind.]
Mommy will cook?? MOMMY WILL COOK?
[ACTION]
[Nope. He is not going to let himself fall into the "Mommy" and "Daddy" role, even if his tone is light and a bit warm.]
It won't be great, but I can manage something edible, at least.
[He doesn't sincerely want her here, but the thought comes in his mind anyway. Why isn't Haruhi here? She could actually cook for them... and teach him how to properly cook. Because at this rate, one of them needs to learn.
...He's been here too long when he starts thinking like that. Damn.]
[ACTION]
[He excitedly nuzzles Kyouya. The image of his family coming together in one table that was set by Kyouya himself. The joy and happiness Tamaki felt was simply hard to contain.]
That would be the best Mommy!!!! Daddy would eat anything Mommy cooks!
[Some how Tamaki missed Haruhi and Hikaru. They really needed their family complete with their children.]
[ACTION]
And yet, he can't manage to do anything but chuckle under his breath. Because this is Tamaki's idea of a family. Sure, he rolls his eyes at it, but... That's what the Host Club is, isn't it?
It's their family. Neither of them have anything like it boast about. They don't need to always get along. They can drive each other insane. And yet... At least there's feeling to it. Not like in his house. Where it's more like sharing space with strangers.
Maybe that's why he's not in any rush to leave Tamaki's arms. It's stupid, but it's nice to pretend.]
Stew shouldn't be too hard.
[written]
[Like homesickness is an actual disease ha ha ha ha she should shut up and get back to unspecified work.]
[written]
[He can think of at least one other on their crew who is definitely homesick, at least for a certain person.]
[written]
[Not referring to any particular person such as herself. Not at all. Nosiree.]
[written]
[He doesn't care one way or another, but. Homesick, cold... no reason not to play Devil's Advocate.]
[written]
[There's a pause before the next part appears. Oh, no, she's going to try to be funny.]
Sort of a quarantine.
[Was... was there even a joke there?]

For what it's worth, that's a very nice sketch. What do you think the chances are of us finding something like that, here?
