[okay, so jaune was used to using his tablet in order to talk to other people and nothing like..... like this. he was able to figure it out after a long process, but he thinks he understands it now! still, he's a little confused.]

So... I take it that um... I'm nowhere near Vale anymore, am I? Uugghh.... I am so dead... what am I gonna tell my parents now?

[they won't approve of being a pirate!!]

How did I even get here....? I know I went to bed in my dorm room last night, there's no way I could sleepwalk this far!

Nope, I arrived this week and was attacked! The natives here are pretty rude.

[OH- he feels rather embarrassed at that. he wants to be a hero more than anything, just like his family was for generations.]

So you're a hero-in-training which is cooler. That means you can look around for a sidekick to recruit, right?

Back home I was at a school that trained heroes. We're called Hunters and Huntresses though. And yeah... I guess I could look around for one!

[he still feels bad about sneaking into beacon, but he feels proud to be apart of such a good team from there.]

They have schools that teach people how to be heroes? [ That's so cooOOOOoool!! ]

That means you can teach someone too, right?

They do! It's pretty cool if you ask me. [...and pretty much everyone is much better than him either way.

I think anyone could be. I mean, just look at me- well you'll have to see me in person to understand that but uh, I'm not exactly the best person for the job either.

I don't know how to fight and fighting is wrong without a purpose. People who just fight criminals get hurt too. Someone got hurt saving me because they were a hero and I rather they didn't.

Er, I mean I wish they didn't get hurt because they felt they had to save me.

But... I also think the world needs heroes. Without them then there would be no one to protect people that can't protect themselves.

Yes, but that's what the military is for? I think?

What if heroes are the military?

That makes a bit of sense. The military here is known as the Navy, I think, so they were attacking us for being pirates.

So they were just trying to protect the good citizens, weren't they?

Oh right! We're supposed to be pirates! I keep forgetting....

Do you think we can be hero pirates instead? Maybe we can change their opinions of us with a little bit of hard work.

On the sea, open sails, rescuing sailors instead of robbing them!

That's.... what pirates do. Pretty sure, yeah. I haven't ever met any but that's what they do in books.

--Well, there's a bit of robbing that goes on sometimes, but not all the time!

Pirates exist to make conflict so that we can resolve things. It's part of living on the sea!

Huh. I always took pirates for the stab first then ask questions later type.

What kind of pirates are those? [ Geez. ]

It's no good to just kill people senselessly!
