Hello, everyone! Or... hmm, should I introduce myself with an "Arrr, matey!" instead?

In any case, hello! My name is Aida Mana, and it seems I'm going to be here with all of you. I have to say, it's not what I expected, but I suppose I'll do my best to make the most of it! If there's anything I could do to help anyone out, just name it!

That said... I'm thinking I want to be one of those people who sets out on the ocean themselves. Figuring this sailing thing out can't be too hard, right? And there's no reason we sailors can't be looking out for each other even if we aren't all on the same ship!

If anyone would be willing to help me get started, just let me know! And if anyone wants to introduce themselves, feel free! I want to get to know as many people as possible!

[Mana arrived at the location, looking rather confused. For now, Cheryl was in Commune form, and she was looking around calmly, trying to catch sight of Karen]

[Mana caught sight of her, and sighed. She looked so calm...

[Well, she looks to be the right age to be a Cure, at least...]

[Mana nodded, and sat down as she was told]

... So, I guess we should get to the point. I'm guessing from your response, you'd never heard of anyone else being Precure before, huh?

Well, four other people. But nobody outside our group. And I certainly haven't met any.

... That doesn't make any sense... you were there... everyone from your group was there...

[suddenly, she grabbed Karen's hands, squeezing them and looking at the other girl with absolute conviction]

Minazuki-san, I know this must seem unbelievable, but I would never lie to someone else about being a Precure, unless it was to keep the secret of being one... please believe me that I'm not trying to trick you!

[Aah! Personal space! ...no, no, she's fine. She's used to dealing with Nozomi after all.]

Perhaps it would be best to explain just where it is that we were.

[Mana nodded, and pulled her hands away]

It was an academy for fairies... ones who wanted to help groups of Precure in the future...

... this just occurred to me, but... everyone here is from different worlds... what if... what if you come from a world where none of that happened for you...?

It's entirely possible. I suppose we also can't rule out the possibility that it simply hasn't happened yet,

I see. It's nice to meet you a second time, Cheryl. [She holds out a hand to shake.] Milk and the others don't do anything like this, though.

[Cheryl's face lights up and she shakes Karen's hand with her tiny paws]

I see... is Milk your fairy, Minazuki-san?

"My" fairy? She doesn't belong to me or anything. She's just a friend.

Oh, I didn't mean it like that... it just seemed like each fairy on our team was able to help with a specific person... I was wondering if this Milk's relationship with you was similar!

Ah. Well, I'm closer to her than the others are, but we don't really have an official relationship or anything.

[Mana nodded] I see, I see...

You know, it's kind of unfortunate. Before we were brought here, I learned how to transform into a human... but for some reason, ever since we found ourselves here, I haven't been able to...

Hm. Could it just be a matter of not having enough energy? I know Milk needed outside help to do the same thing.

Ohhh! There's an idea, sharu! I should try to replenish my energy! Mana, can we get a snack, sharuru?!

[Mana laughed a bit] Sure, but nothing too big... we don't have a lot of money to spend, Cheryl...
