[There's just some absentminded humming at first, as Sanji had been casually flipping through the journal, checking up on the recent onslaught of entries while messing around in the kitchen at the same time. After a moment he cuts himself off, suddenly going quiet, before there's this skeptical outburst:]

...What the fuck?

[Cue some banging around, the sound of cabinets being opened and closed, and then Sanji snatches up the journal and realizes it was recording. So he just rolls with it, though he sounds grumpy now.]

Eh...Straw Hats, there's some shitty cake in the galley. If anyone wants an afternoon snack.

[Pause.]

But LADIES FIRST, assholes! Got it?

[His usual enthusiasm is somewhat...lacking. There's the sound of a lighter clicking, before Sanji grumbles around a cigarette:]

I'm taking the next watch.

[Anyone on the ship, he'll just be up in the crow's nest for awhile! And if you're gonna go steal some cake, don't question the shitty green frosting, alright? It ain't moldy or anything. Just eat the damn cake. >\]

[Scowls, because he can feel himself caving to do a lady's bidding but it's shitty cake and a stupid green color and also NOT ALIVE.]

.....Did you try any of it? It probably tastes fine! I wasn't sad when I made it, that's the important thing, that's the feeling that will go into the cake, right??

[May or may not sound a little pleading.]
