Captains Log
Day 1 of being Captain

Teleported to strange island. Green fountain is the only clue, flying the nearby area didn't help figure out location. If it's in the New World, it's not one of Whitebeard's islands.

Surrounded by noisy idiots who are no help.

[Ok, time to backpedal and maybe ask the nice Marco book questions. So like him he doesn't know where he is, but he mentioned something about a New World. Perhaps Yu can start off there.]

You mentioned a New World. So this is not Earth I can assume, right?

What is Earth?

[He thought so. Alright, so this is an entirely different place and definitely not anywhere near home. As if his interaction with Izanami was a reason for it.]

I am from the New World. Second half of the Grand Line. It's an ocean, not an actual [A pause as he tries to figure out the right word.] planet?

...yeah, definitely nothing like that back home. So whoever brought us here wants us to explore this place?

Beats me. I thought they wanted us to find some idiotic treasure.

And then what will they do with it? And why call a bunch of strangers to find it for them? Doesn't that seem odd to you?

I was going somewhere by train. I fell asleep and ended up here.

[He couldn't say home; as much as it was, his heart stayed in Inaba.]

I haven't seen any of those that can ride on water yet.

[Kind of unconsciously, Yu did think of what would happen if the Marco book did hear his voice. Sadly, the voice function DID turn on and he didn't realize it. So the next thing he said he thought only he could hear.]

It would be cool though...

There's a switch button on the spine. It seems like these books act as den den mushi, but without the snail. Which makes me wonder how they're powered.

We've been summoned by some skeleton who wants us to do something and have no clue how to get back to our worlds. It may be something completely different than what we might assume.

I'll confess, I didn't pay much attention, as they irritated me, but it's something worth paying attention to, eh.
