By my calculations it has been approximately 145 hours since we saw the last sunset. I am beginning to wonder if this occurrence means we are actually on some planet that is not Earth. Perhaps one that has completely different planetary cycles.

I, however, doubt that a vitamin D deficiency would have such a pronounced effect on the behaviors of some of my crewmates. And as far as I am aware, itching isn't a symptom. I do not wish to relive the past 145 hours.

Everything okay, Rei? You're not a vampire too?

Hairy and itchy?

This isn't a really strange case of hives, is it?

[ He knows it's not. Especially with the smashing. ]

[Very grouchy werewolf on the other end of the journal.]
It's been very clear this isn't earth as any of us know it from day one.
We defiantly should have noticed more strange side effects if the planet's rotation has changed. Before that fog rolled the rotation speed of the planet and it's moon seemed to be similar to earth's conditions.

You're the one said beginning to wonder as in you only just noticed.

You're just going to have to resign yourself to being itchy.

I would hazard a guess and say...yes, I think we are on another world altogether. I mean it wouldn't be a surprise if long nights were normal. I mean heck, there are worlds with two suns where I'm from.

Though, going through tough times right now, huh?

Not long, but I still hazard a guess we're either on another world altogether, or another time. Which is whacky and unlikely, so my point about this place being another world is still a possibility.

Someone has to point it out you know. Also to treat an itch just put something cold on it, it helps or the meantime.

Woah, someone's a little touchy. Take a child pill. Relax.

Though...What do you mean by all this hair?

A lot of people do, you just don't notice.

Aw come on. Maybe I can be useful. Oddities is a normal thing to me after all.

They don't have deficiencies! They have vampiritis and zombieitis! Why are you itchy? Do you have a rash?

Uwaaaaaaaaaaah! Rei has werewolfitis! It's okay! I'll cook! I mean, since me and the cap'n are the only ones who can eat normal food now!

I'm with you on this not being Earth, but that moon's not a natural thing either. It wouldn't have come on so suddenly.

It's obviously related to the ghost ships. I thought everyone would have figured that out by now.

No, I get where you're coming from. I had a pretty hard time when I got here.

[Okay, she still has a hard time accepting a lot of it.]

I doubt this has anything to do with planetary cycles. There's no related explanation I can think of that would cause the sun to disappear so suddenly.
