I don't know. God doesn't mean much where I'm from.

I don't know! Curses attached to fogs? It doesn't make any sense to me.

[Legends? There aren't that many she remembers from her childhood. Stuff about knights and princesses and...]

Yes, it is.

What did you mean by saying Alchemy?

[hands4healing]

Well...there are alchemists back home. Supposedly, there was a man who came out of the Eastern Desert, and taught people alchemy.

[She sounds more like she's parroting than actually having knowledge. Or like something she learned back when she was a little girl.]

So it's something you learn in school. What are you taught?

[Alchemy is very different for him-- he wants to know more.]

[Waves hands - not that he can see that.]

Not me! I didn't learn alchemy!

[Gets herself under control again.] I dropped out of school. My grandmother needed me...my friends needed me. I studied to become an automail mechanic, apprenticed to my grandma, then to Mr. Garfiel.

Automail is amazing! It's the study of biomechanical technology, to create artificial limbs for people who need them, that act like flesh! Or, sometimes, provide extra protection. I've seen them installed with swords and guns and once, a little cannon!

Aaand it's mostly gibberish for the poor man here.

I had no idea that you create machines like that. [or any machine. He's already had this discussion regarding refrigerators.] Do these limbs function normally?

Mm, pretty much, but there is no sensation capacity - I mean, there's no touch capabilities.
