Greetings,

My name is Thatch and I will be your part-time cook, full-time master swordsman, and all around gentleman rogue. From what I've heard tell, I've had more sailing experience than most of you have fingers, that's all right. We'll teach each other, aye?

I'm going to be going to the ship soon enough and clearing out a space for my berth. Preferably the room with the highest ceilings. Before that, I'll be looking to restock the kitchen. If anyone has any preferences for food, let me know now. Also I've heard tell that one of you takes blood. Talk to me, matey. We need to have a face to face.

A weight off my mind. We need someone with medical, even just a passing knowledge. [he could bandage with the best of them but when it came to anything more than that...]

I'm doing a little shopping for the kitchen, so if you would, could you make a list of all the cooking things we have? Pots, pans, peelers, that sort of thing.

Honestly, I'd just assume that we need a bit of everything. Most of what we've got is just junk. I've been living off sandwiches for weeks because of it.

Still I'd like some sort of list if you can handle it. Ace can't pick pocket the entire island so I'd like to save money where I can.

Pots we have, though we're missing some lids. Pans for baking...well...ours are a little charred. Must've been an accident. Utensils we're okay on, but not cooking spoons. And we're going to need peelers. Seems that someone bent the current one out of shape. Anything else you think we might need that I should look for?

I think we're good. Just check the status of the water barrels and that's all I'll need.

Well, we won't be stuck in doldrums to begin with. I've just about got a motor working.

Copper, if you can find it, would be a big help by the way.

Is that so? So it works like a mill? [he can't imagine there would be too much power in that but] What's the top speed?

Yes, exactly. And about one nautical mile an hour. Nothing fast, but enough to move the ship through doldrums.
